We recently stayed in the Red Room and the accomodation was beyond our expectations! The four poster bed was stunning and incredibly comfortable. There was a great variety of delicious breakfast options, along with a range of hot drinks and nibbles including fresh cake and brownies. The location provided us with a great hub for walking in the Wye Valley and Siobhan kindly packed the delicious frittatas we didn't finish for breakfast so we can take them with us! On check in Siobhan was warm and friendly, showing us around the gardens and our room, providing recommendations for local food and activities. We highly recommend this accommodation and hope to come back in the future!

Fran and Pete were wonderful hosts. Accommodating and welcoming throughout our stay. They responded to all our questions and messages quickly and were really informative. The house is a lovely and cosy place to stay and we all felt really at home.

Daniel was very accomodating. The stay on the farm with all the new lambs was lovely. The breakfast was very delicious. The room was clean and well appointed.

Nicola was an incredible host! Her house is spacious, authentic, clean, and the single beds are very comfortable! She is responsive, friendly, and welcoming. In addition, you ll get an amazing English breakfast, the best way to start your day. Recommend staying there a 100%!

Mandy provides a welcoming stay in her charming, characterful regency house. As a professional chef, Mandy provided a delicious supper party for my friends and her breakfast comprises a fabulous selection. Finally, Mandy has consummate hosting skills and I highly recommend her facilities based on my experience of staying with her.

Really high quality room with lots of beautiful touches. We stay in the Cotswolds often and Chloe and Ben’s place is better than a lot of the hotels we’ve stayed at with a huge and comfy king sized bed and fluffy linen. Lovely breakfast, tea and cake in the afternoon and the use of a cosy lounge with a log burning stove. Super lovely stay and can’t wait to come back!

The most wonderful and peaceful stay . A walkable distance from a wedding at Homme House, however Anne was kind enough to drive us down. Breakfast was an absolute highlight, with local and homemade ingredients, in addition to a homemade chocolate and chestnut torte laid out upon arrival. Our accommodation had everything that we could need for a couple of nights, which led to an incredibly comfortable stay. Thank you, Anne!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Little Marcle. Karen’s home is just beautiful and it was lovely to meet some of her family. Karen’s ensuite room is well appointed with tasteful furnishings, comfy beds and views of the surrounding farm land. Karen is a warm and generous host and her beautifully prepared breakfast with homemade preserves and jam just adds to the wonderful experience of English country life.

Jane is a very friendly host. She was helpful in recommending local places of interest. Room very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a non-cooked variety but plentiful and served with a friendly smile. Would highly recommend Jane’s rooms and hosting.

Tim and Lorraine were friendly and helpful, and their house is spotlessly clean. I appreciated the late check out time (11am) as this enabled me to finish an assignment. Having breakfast included was a nice treat too.

Matt’s place is amazing and his family is very kind and friendly. Matt is a great host and a delicious breakfast is served, super recommended!

Beautiful and stylish room and house. Very friendly and accomodating host. Very well appointed private bathroom. Useful double night-tables. Special touches like fresh orange juice and strawberries.

Excellent place! Delicious breakfast. Very friendly and helpfull host and hostess. Friendly dogs and sheeps and pigs with baby piglets. Big bath and outside area with excellent view.

Just beautiful, perfect hospitality and such a great location. Our host Vida ensured everything was taken care of and made sure our room was comfortable and our stay memorable . Would definitely recommend the Old Vicarage to anyone wanting to experience the Cotswolds, just the perfect place.

Wonderful host, who couldn’t do enough. Very pro active on day of arrival with constant messaging regarding check in & local amenities available in the area. Room was well beyond expected, lovely double bedroom with selection of linen & pillows, bathroom was clean & tidy & on the larger side being within a fine Country residence, there was also a living room available for guests to relax in, loved the 2 resident dogs who were very friendly. I would certainly recommend Celia as a host with full confidence, she was a joy to meet.

We stayed with Jane after attending Badminton Horse Trials. It was the perfect base! Jane's house was absolutely charming and beautifully situated in the valley above Stroud. Jane and her husband were gracious hosts and made us feel right at home. Jane prepared us a delicious breakfast with highlights including amazing homemade granola and locally sourced honey and spreads for toast. Jane is an excellent communicator and gave clear instructions in the lead up to our stay. Would highly recommend!

Nice quiet but central location for access to town centre

Arlene’ Air B&B was idyllic and gorgeous! Well located near Cotwolds villages (we visited Bourton on Water, Bibury, lower and upper Slaughter, and Stow on the Wold). And ate in Lechlade- New Wave and the New Inn; both were lovely. And we were there for just two days! The room in the cottage is comfortable, and the breakfast was great and set us up for the day. Arlene was so lovely and easy to communicate with. Would recommend. Thanks Arlene!

We decided to take a very last min trip away, as we have recently moved and are expecting baby number 2 in a week or so, so needed a breather. Martin was on hand for check-in. He was lovely and showed us our room, checked if we needed anything else, and told us a few places to eat. The room was lovely, well kept, spotless and perfect for our short stay. Coffee, tea and biccies were in hand, which are always welcome. The shower was brilliant, great pressure and lovely and hot. Breakfast too was lovely, piping hot and fresh. Nothing was too much trouble for Martin and he was chatty, friendly and welcoming. We would very much reccomed a stay here and thank our lovely host for accommodating us.

Chris is a truly wonderful host—genuinely a good person. All the staff members were incredibly friendly and kind. Even though my parents don’t speak English (and my mom is a bit of a character 🤭), the staff was always helpful and made them feel right at home. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! 😁
