A stargazers delight, evenings are celebrated as you bask in the quiet of the night. The closest hiking trails are a 15 minute walk or 3 minute drive from the casita. We are located immediately off the Original Old Rt 66 with numerous distinct climates within a twenty minute drive.

Casita Luna is a remote-yet-near, romantic, rustic, bright and breezy retreat, located in a historic Northern New Mexican village. Surrounded by high forest trails and inspiring mountain views, and complete privacy, solitude, and comfort. Visit with Luna the donkey and Blossom the horse! Also, for the early risers, the spectacular sunrises over Sangre de Cristo Mountains are not to be missed! Coupled with its stunning natural location and its proximity to Santa Fe, this cottage truly offers the best of both worlds.

Chameleon, Rustic Cabin, Unit 1 with private deck

Chameleon: 2 room cabin, NO running water and no toilet facilities in the casita, sleeps 4, possibly 5, two (2) double beds in the bedroom, and a daybed for an extra person (for an added fee of $20.) Wood stove, hot plate & electric appliances for cooking. Open deck on the Pecos River! with an outdoor fireplace. Community bathhouse with commodes and showers, 300 feet from Chameleon. Some road noise can be heard, especially during peak travel times.

(No pets) Choose silence, solitude in our 12'x14' AIR CONDITIONED furnished hut, with a picture window view of Mesa; bed, desk, rocking chair, kitchenette. (1 guest only) and Wi-Fi. Space dedicated for meditation, prayer, writing. Private shower 90 steps away, inside main house. Hiking trail minutes away. Vaccination recommended. (Note: our second retreat space, inside main house, has private bath, kitchen use, library and LR.)
