Situated one block from Town Square, Rothesay Cottage consists of the front rooms of an original 1870s home, moved from Newbury by steam tractor in 1928. The overall style is a hybrid of 1870s and 1920s Art Deco to reflect its history. Your queen room boasts a stunning period bedroom suite complete with ensuite. Your snug (cosy lounge) includes the original operational Edwardian fireplace with a modern cupboard kitchenette. The front verandah has been enclosed to create a sunroom with daybed.

Set on 30 acres of partly cleared, part bush and looking down to a large ornamental lake through many mature trees abundant with wild life. Situated in "cool country" Trentham, the Chef’s Shed was originally built in 1860, and has been lovingly transformed into a cosy, spacious and unique place to stay. It has quirky living spaces, including a loft, and wide, stunning views over the land around, even from the private sauna which can be used for a modest fee. From here you can explore the region. We are surrounded by nature, and a few minutes from The Falls and historic Trentham with cafes, pubs, walking tracks and a lot of history.

Our area is home to an abundance of nature, from kangaroos to echidnas to wombats.

This self-contained studio on Dja Dja Wurrung Country is tucked below our house. It's a totally separate and private space, air conditioned, double glazed and with its own off-street parking and access. It is within walking distance to the town centre, The Mill Complex, The Bridge Hotel and the Botanic Gardens; and just a 7 min walk up the hill from the railway station. Enjoy fabulous views to the east from the lounge, bedroom and your private balcony across the town to Leanganook.

Red Brick Barn Chewton

Red Brick Barn overlooks Forest Creek and surrounding Goldfields heritage bushland. A walking track is at the door for a lovely walk to Wesley hill Saturday market or continue on to explore nearby Castlemaine with it's wonderful Architecture and vibrant café and arts culture. Red Brick Barn is an eclectic mix of European and Early Australian antiques, including French Industrial Furniture and Lighting, Turkish Kilims from Anatolia and rare "Depression" pieces.

Taipa

A quiet place overlooking the Malmsbury countryside. This area is surrounded by wineries and small country towns that hold markets most weekends. We are just a short walk from Malmsbury Railway Station. This region hosts Castlemaine Art Festival, Harcourt Apple Fest . Great restaurants, cafes in nearby historic Piper St Kyneton and Malmsbury farmers market. This is an area not to be missed located 55 minutes from Melbourne and just 25 minutes to Daylesford.

Set in the peaceful bushland of Fryerstown, Fryers hut is only 10 minutes from Castlemaine, 30 minutes from Daylesford and 5 minutes from Vaughan Springs. Excellent walking and mountain bike riding are at your doorstep or just relax at the hut and enjoy the garden, pool and sauna. In the heart of the Goldfields region there is plenty to explore including outdoor activities, the arts, festivals, historical sites and great cafes, restaurants and wineries.
