Comfortable beds, warm and dry location on a very rainy weekend. Downspout may need to be repaired. Nice family feeling in the home. Valerie responded quickly and helpfully to every inquiry. Overall, a very pleasant place to stay. Home is well maintained for its age

Home was clean and comfortable. Close to the best beaches on the Oregon coast. A great location for beaches. Shopping, Sight seeing, great restaurants. Hope to stay again.

Great access to the beach. We enjoyed the vacation home vibe. Hotel-quality fresh sheets, pillow, and towels. Great mattress. WiFi at 50 mps so work video meetings went smoothly. Thrilled to find a heavy duty card table in the closet - it served as a desk. We can see ourselves staying here again.

The house was perfect for our family reunion from a six month old to a ninety year old ! The house was more well equipped than any other house I’ve ever rented. An amazing kitchen with everything needed to make big meals, equipment for the baby, and beach chairs too. The only thing I can think of that was a little less than perfect was the en-suite bathrooms downstairs made bathroom use a little awkward during the night for two of the downstairs bedrooms, but we just walked upstairs to a bathroom. Our visit coincided with quite a bit of rain, so the pool table and hot tub were greatly appreciated. We also all got together in the pool room to watch the basketball championship on the huge TV.

Beautiful little cabin close the ocean! We were lucky to be there while the closest cabin next door was unoccupied which made it even more peaceful. The backyard is a nice size to throw the ball for our dog; there is no secure fenced area and that is the only thing that would have made it better. You can hear the ocean which was amazing and the walk down to it is sooo close! We did not go down to the beach near the cabin due to the large rocks at the bottom of the steps (which is mentioned in the listing). We did not want to risk our dog hurting himself trying to get down and then back up since it was raining and slippery. We did have an issue when we first arrived - we had no hot water. We contacted management and they came and got it up and running in no time. We had a great time and would definitely recommend staying here.

We loved everything about the Huckleberry house, and Debra is a perfect host! Very clean, spacious and comfortable, peaceful, beautiful lake view, well-stocked kitchen and hot tub was perfect after a day along the coast!

I have travelled all over the world, and can say that The Lodge Below the Falls is a very special place, created with love and deep appreciation for the nature surrounding it. This is a place to reconnect, to create, to rest, to explore, and to dream. The two giant waterfalls above and the pristine stream flowing by, the sauna, and the cozy and comfortable spaces around the woodstove and open kitchen/dining areas offer settings for our busy minds to unwind, and the breath of inspiration to arise. The 22-mile drive to and from town is actually perfect as it is a beautiful drive, and is just long enough to give yourself a chance to slow down and shift gears to a relaxed state of mind. It is a truly rare treat to be able to enjoy such a unique and beautiful space!

This is a beautiful place to stay. Worked very well for our family’s birthday celebration. Would certainly stay again.
