Perfect getaway in small town PA

Carlisle House is in a great location to allow you to experience Carlisle. The breakfast each morning was delicious and Kathy and Chloe were delightful. They even accommodated some of our special dietary needs! The room was spacious and clean and comfortable! ‘

This was an absolutely outstanding stay. The home was immaculately clean, comfortable, and beautiful. The second floor, where the bedrooms and bathroom is, is completely secluded from Stephani’s personal living area, and we were very comfortable there. We also really enjoyed talking to her; she was very friendly and gave us great suggestions on our travels.

We came here for my husbands birthday weekend, the place was exactly what we needed to unwind. If you stay I'd suggest at least 2 nights to really get to appreciate the place!

Kevin and Robin were outstanding hosts in a beautiful and peaceful location. The room was great, the bed extremely comfortable and they made the entire stay an enjoyable experience that I would highly recommend. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in an Airbnb. We were made to feel like family.

Robert is an exceptional host with a lovely home, making it a convenient choice for anyone visiting Pennsylvania and Hersheypark. He even accommodated us with an early check-in! While we shared the space with him, Robert ensured we had the privacy we needed. However, we did wish there was a designated living room area for group gatherings, as it would have been nice to relax together and watch TV instead of being confined to individual rooms. Overall, it was a pleasant stay!

Karl’s place is such a gem! Absolutely beautiful home and property. The back yard had a fire pit we were able to use as well as other areas for lounging. Karl also makes a delicious breakfast for his guests! If we are back in the area we would love to stay here again!

Perfect for a weekend getaway from the city. Awesome location with many brewery and winery options nearby (one winery directly across the road). Check in and check out were simple and Olga was very friendly.

Norma and Patrick are friendly and great hosts. Decided to extend my stay in a different room. This room has the best sunset views with plenty of sunshine.

Chris & Sharon could not have been more hospitable. Chris greeted us upon arrival, giving us directions to the on-site parking, then showed us to our room. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was nicely decorated. The en suite bathroom was great, very clean, with makeup removing cloths, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. Nice linens, too. Sweet treats were available throughout the house, including caramel corn in our room, and bottled water. In the evening, we hung out on the back patio by the gas fire pit with Chris, which was really nice. Breakfast was excellent—homemade breads with pear butter, Greek yogurt, fresh fruit (including berries from their on-site garden), smoked apple sausage, and bread pudding with fruit. It was really nice chatting with Chris & Sharon and comparing notes with them about our concert experiences. We would definitely stay @ Georges on York again, and we highly recommend it.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Mooreland Garden Inn. My sister and I were on a college tour of Pennsylvania and decided to splurge to make our trek more enjoyable. Dawn was an incredible host and totally set the tone by calling in advance to ask about our timing, food preferences, and what our travels were for. We arrived in the middle of a horrible rainstorm and were met with a lovely tour, and followed up with snacks, wine, and chatting. Dawn gave lovely recommendations for visiting Carlisle, fed us incredible food, the bed and room were so lovely, and we honestly can't wait to visit again. If you want to sleep in a comfortable, clean, beautiful room, eat lovely food, and feel taken care of, don't hesitate to book a room here. You won't regret it.

We loved seeing this beautiful civil war home. Well appointed with great architecture. The rooms were spacious and very clean , bathroom had a nice shower. We enjoyed the breakfast quiche and chatting with the other guests. (Breakfast has a separate cost) Was a great stop on our way to a family reunion in Virginia. We have already recommended it to others. Don’t miss stopping at this place!

I was just passing through and wished I had more time to spend in Carlisle. I will definitely be back! This town is full of history!

This was our second time staying at Karl's place. As before, it's a beautiful house, and Karl is a warm and welcoming host. He's always ready with local recommendations (especially eateries), and is a master of big, tasty breakfasts. We stayed in the recently-completed third floor bedroom, with its own spacious bath, but our previous stay in one of the other rooms was just as comfortable. Mt. Joy offers easy driving access to the rest of Lancaster County, but know that it's a sleepy small town. If a quiet getaway and home base for exploring the countryside is what you're after, The Senator is perfect. We'll be back!

Kelsey bent over backwards to accommodate we three. My husband and teenager took the paddleboat out. She cleaned it before we arrived! The breakfast casseroles and baked goods were delicious. You get 5 stars all around!

If I ever need a place to stay in Montgomery County, MD, I will try to book Tony's Air B&B. Unfortunately, I had to spend most of my time with my daughter, who was critically ill. I would have liked to explore the beautiful countryside around the area. Whenever I needed anything Tony provided. Betsey McCoy

My stay was brief but very enjoyable. This was a getaway just for me. Dylan was very helpful and proactive with communication and made sure I knew where everything was and how to get in and out on my own. My room was perfect. Beautifully decorated, a TV and fridge were handy in the room. Very nice place and would definitely stay again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Gettysburg! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. Their historic home was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and had such a warm, inviting vibe. Each item in the Olinger House was authentic and chosen with care — it added so much character and made our stay even more special. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, offering great recommendations for local restaurants and things to do. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, but also super walkable to downtown full of Gettysburg history and meaningful moments. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and Kane's doggy hugs made us feel relaxed and welcome. Overall, this was one of my favorite Airbnb experiences to date. We would 100% recommend it to anyone visiting Gettysburg, and we hope to come back soon!
