We had a wonderful time at Emanuels place. He was a wonderful host, very helpful with recommendations and showing how everything worked. The view from his place is incredible. We spent almost every evening on the terrace, enjoying the view of the ocean and Ribeira Brava. What a wonderful place! Thank you so much for sharing it with us.

La maison de Vanda est agréable et bien située ! Nous y avons séjourné 2 semaines en famille et c’est un très bon point de départ pour visiter l’île, très central. Il fait parfois plus nuageux sur la côte nord, mais il suffit alors de traverser le tunnel pour retrouver le soleil sur la côte sud, à 20 minutes de là. La maison est bien équipée. La vue depuis la chambre parentale est magnifique. Le jaccuzi sur la terrasse est un plus. Vanda est une hôte très réactive et à l’écoute. Merci !

Wenn du nach einem einzigartigen und atemberaubenden Ausblick suchst, dann ist diese Location genau das Richtige! Ruhig gelegen und mit tollem Ausblick auf Berge, Wasserfälle und das Meer, liegt die Unterkunft in perfekter Nähe zu einigen beeindruckenden Wanderrouten. Die Ausstattung ist gut für Selbstversorger geeignet. Der nächste Supermarkt ist wenige Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Die Besitzer waren extrem freundlich, zuvorkommend und flexibel. Das Grundstück mit Hanglage und privatem Parkplatz ist eine gepflegte Oase mitten in den Bergen. Kleiner Tipp: Packt Ohrenstöpsel ein, denn der Hahn der Nachbarn sagt gerne bereits früh morgens "Hallo!" Ich kann die Unterkunft bedingungslos allen empfehlen, die Madeira abseits der Touristen-Hotspots erleben wollen.

Super Unterkunft! Werde aufkedenfall immer diese nehmen wenn ich nach Madeira zum Wandern gehe :)

Heerlijk verblijf gehad in dit kleine paradijsje! Alleen te vinden via Google Maps als je Tropical Lovers intoetst, anders kom je in Ponta do Sol uit. Alles was keurig verzorgd, een heerlijke regendouche en fijn bed en elke avond even ontspannen in de jacuzzi. En dan hebben we nog niet eens het prachtige uitzicht beschreven! Je hoort alleen het ruisen van het water in de levada’s, de kikkertjes, een paar krekels en af en toe een haan. Een echt topverblijf hier!!

Team at Casas de Pedro makes every effort for comfort of their guests. Self Catering breakfast provided daily fresh bread, fruits cheese, and deli meats. Very delicious. Architecture of cottage was beautiful of restored original construction and complimentary style addition. Camelia is a wonderful, restful and rehabilitating escape for a couple.

Ein Kleinod, romantisch mit allem, was man braucht. herrlicher Garten mit schönen outdoor Möbel. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt...nur, man muss gut Auto fahren können, steile Auffahrt!

Le logement est impeccable, au calme dans un environnement dépaysant. Idéal avec des enfants, les services sont à proximité (restaurant, supermarché). La vue est magnifique et le propriétaire réactif. Parfait pour visiter Madère !

Sehr hübsches Chalet. Liegt ca. 450 m über dem Meer. Sehr liebevoll und stylisch eingerichtet, mit Liebe zum Detail ❤️

Wir waren das erste Mal auf Madeira, und unsere Erwartungen wurden voll erfüllt. Die Unterkunft war genau wie beschrieben – geräumig, gemütlich und ideal für eine Gruppe. Besonders die Größe hat sich als großer Vorteil erwiesen, wenn man mit mehreren Leuten reist. Die Kommunikation war hervorragend. Bei Fragen wurde sofort geholfen, was den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen und können die Unterkunft wirklich weiterempfehlen!

The accomodation was nice, soooo quiet and peaceful. Only the bird chirping we can hear during our stay. the view from the covered terace was amazing. it was easy to reach the house by car. We really enjoyed our stay in this cottage.

If you're looking for a quiet area to get away from the crowds in the cities this is a wonderful place. It's nestled in the mountain valleys near Ponta do Prago but quite near the ocean. We loved our 6 day stay at Frederica 's. She provided good, clear instructions to get there. She also gave us very useful information on local attractions, restaurants and supermarkets. The house is on a very steep pitched road so walking up and down it can be a challenge ( we are in our 70's ) We did it a few times. There is a walk from her house to the waterfalls . It took us about 2 hrs. Rnd-trip but it was well worth it. If we were to return we'd go back in April or later.

The apartment is super cute The location is perfect to visit the east coast ! Highly recommend 👌

Superbe logement et emplacement. Un des meilleurs Airbnb que j’ai eu l’occasion de réserver. L’emplacement est à couper le souffle, à flanc de collines , face a la mer et entouré de plantes et de fruits exotiques. Logement très bien équipé et super fonctionnel. Très bon contact avec José et Sophia, qui sont réactif et qui m’ont donné pas mal de recommandations. Je n’ai pas eu de chance vis à vis du temps mais je reviendrai à Madère et à la villa papaya pour sur ! Je recommande !

I can honestly recommend this host. The photos in the ad are real. Once there, we found a fully equipped house where we could feel at home. Fully equipped kitchen, bathrooms, laundry room - everything you need to get settled. We have a closed parking lot outside, so you can park your car/motorcycle safely. I sincerely recommend it.

Sehr tolles Haus in traumhafter Lage! Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt, Haus und Ausstattung wie beschrieben :) Zunächst schwierig zu finden, aber dank Kommunikation per Telefon dann letztendlich gefunden, super netter Check In, und tolle Empfehlungen für den Ort. Für uns war das Haus optimal, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Wir empfehlen das Haus absolut gerne weiter und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

This is a beautiful historic home located outside the small town of Camacha, about 15 minutes from Funchal by car. Well set back from the road and area is quiet at night, mild road noise during the day if the windows are open. The home is just as described and pictured in the photos with one exception - the paint is mildewed and peeling off in a small section of the bathroom ceiling. The house was very clean and and during our 2 week stay, we also received one housekeeping visit/linen change with no extra charge. We had no need for A/C, and the radiators kept the house toasty at night. There were dehumidifers in the house but we found it dry and comfortable. There was plenty of hot water and excellent water pressure. No rodent/insect issues. A sweet small dog resides on the property. There is a lovely levada walk in the back of grounds as well. Host responded promptly to all questions. Shopping center with supermarket, laundromat 5 minutes drive. Appliances worked well. We enjoyed it

We hebben ontzettend genoten van ons verblijf in het knusse huis van Aurelio & Sietske! De omgeving is prachtig voor mooie wandelingen en uitstapjes, wat zowel lopend als met de bus goed te doen is. Daarnaast zijn er allerlei leuke restaurants en terrasjes op loopafstand. Verder heeft het huis alles wat je nodig hebt en Aurelio & Sietske waren erg behulpzaam. Bedankt!

Beautiful place with incredible views. Very comfortable beds and lovely decoration with good quality utensils, linen, pans, chairs, sofa, TV and all the amenities. Modern decoration and very clean house. Anne and Dave are very friendly and responsive, with some really good recommendations on what to do and see in Madeira. We are a family of 4 and we had plenty of room and space in the house. The description and pictures on the website is very accurate. The pool area is comfortable and it has the most beautiful views of Arco de Calheta. I would highly recommend this place and thanks again Dave and Anne for looking after us so well.

Wir durften 12 Tage im blauen Haus verbringen und waren sehr begeistert. Es ist ein sehr schönes Haus, ausreichend groß für 2-4 Personen. Eine wunderschöne Aussicht krönt das ganze. Vielen Dank, für den sehr netten Kontakt. Es ist absolut weiterzuempfehlen!
