The Old Henhouse is nestled on our family farm in South County Galway. The exterior is charred timber cladding which blends discreetly to the surroundings. You have on site parking, private outdoor sitting area, a compact kitchen with gas hob, fridge. Wood burning stove to provide warmth in the cooler winter evenings. Espresso Coffee machine. Tea, coffee, essential condiments supplied. Extremely comfortable double bed, bathroom, shower/toilet. Constant hot water. Just take a deep breath & relax!

The Blue Yard

The Blue Yard is a tiny home on the beautiful drive-on island of Aughinish, 12 km outside the sea-side town of Kinvara, named one of the top ten beautiful villages in Ireland. Aughinish Island is accessed by a 1 km causeway (not tidal) and is an area of unspoilt beauty with local pebble beaches a five minute walk away and the sandy beach of Traught a ten min drive away (8 km). A great place to come back to after a day exploring all the area has to offer.

A lovely hiking trail is just up the hill past St. Patrick's Church. Located in the village of New Quay on the scenic Wild Atlantic Way, we are on the route to Ballyvaughan and the Ciffs of Moher. (A car is necessary - we are in a very beautiful rural area with very limited public transport.)

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. The chalet is nestled at the foot of Oughtmama Mountain amongst ash, hazel, and whitethorn trees. It's the perfect location for walking on the Burren pavement, caving, rock climbing, foraging on the shore, or swimming in the Atlantic. You can enjoy a delicious meal and a pint in one of the many great pubs or restaurants in the area, or you can shop in one of the local farmer's markets and cook up a storm in the chalet.
