Mama-San and Papa-San are some of the best people I’ve met. They are very kind and very personable. I felt like I was at home or at my grandparents house. They gave me great recommendations on things to do in the area. They treated us like family. I would go back in a heartbeat. They also have great food

Lovely hostel in a great spot less than a minutes walk away from a stunning view of Mount Fuji, breakfast was recommended at a cafe at check in for a great price and was lovely food in the morning. Very clean shared spaces and a lovely place to spend a night near the mountain! Would highly recommend

A nice accommodation, with a lot of equipment in the kitchen like fresh coffee, snacks etc. The check-in was very flexible and smooth. We were able to reserve a free parking space before checking in. Also the receptionist was very friendly and had a lot of good tips for restaurants and activities in the area. All in all a great and good value stay if you don’t want to spend too much!

Nous avons passé une nuit avec un groupe de 15 amis. Le logement était impeccable, les chambres confortables, le Onsen reposant et le jardin parfait pour faire un petit feu de camp. Je recommande fortement !

We loved staying at Tohru’s! His family were all so friendly and couldn’t do enough to help us :) Tohru offered us lifts to and from the station, local recommendations for the best places to see Mount Fuji and even gave us postcards and photos when we left!🗻 Would definitely recommend staying here!!

I really like this place! Amazing location, kind staff, cheap bicycle rentals, super clean and very aesthetic vibe! My only complaint is that if there was AC i couldn’t find it and the place is a little expensive. I think it’s expensive cause of its convenient location literally on Honcho street where the famous pictures with Fuji-San are taken, so i understand. Regardless this is a very very nice place!!

All was great. Comfortable and warm room, very clean kitchen and room. Host was helpful to recommend restaurants and give us tips. also fast reply on message.

La experiencia en el alojamiento fue increíble. Tiene un buen acceso en coche con facilidad de aparcamiento y el lugar es un paraíso de tranquilidad. Rodeado de naturaleza pudimos darnos un baño relajante después del largo día visitando los alrededores del Fuji. Nos prepararon una copiosa cena y desayuno y estuvieron muy atentos. Además, tuvimos la suerte de disfrutar de un espectáculo maravilloso de musica tradicional japonesa durante la noche. Sin duda lo recomiendo.

Incredible place to stay! Better than the pictures! We were lucky and had clear skies to see Mt Fuji. Besides the accommodations being clean and comfortable, the staff are so responsive and kind. When we arrived in Hakone, they came to the bus stop, picked up our luggage and then we went right into enjoying Lake Ashi. The bags were delivered to the room when we checked in. They also drop off/pickup for restaurants within a close distance from the Airbnb (but a long-ish walk of 30 minutes), though there were limited dinner options in the area in early May. The staff was very helpful navigating the transit system for the trip back to Tokyo during golden week. I stayed for 1 night and was in Hakone for just 1.5 days - though I wish I could have stayed one extra night. If you are deciding if it’s worth the travel for a short overnight stay, I recommend yes! It rained all day and still a great trip because popular places were less crowded (ropeway, open air museum, etc)

Hôte très réactif et accueillant, à l'écoute de nos demandes. La chambre était parfaite, conforme aux photos et à mes attentes, c'était vraiment agréable de la découvrir. Une fois que le ciel s'est dégagé, la vue était incroyable et faire l'expérience d'un onsen (avec vue) a été géniale !

Fue una estancia en medio de la naturaleza increíble, con mucho que ver en los alrededores, y bien conectado con transporte público y lo mejor la anfitriona Yuan, siempre dispuesta a ayudar, conversar, y disponible en todo momento. sus riquísimas cenas fueron de lo mejor. Muy recomendable.

オーナーの方はとても親切で柔軟に対応してくださいました。お風呂は大きくは無かったものの、とても趣きのある作りの天然温泉があり、とてもくつろげました。 また機会があればぜひ利用したい宿泊先です。

Amazing hotel, with views of Mount Fuji - had the Onsen to myself in the morning which was incredible. The reception when above and beyond to accommodate our requests as the logistics in this area can be a little tricky (it’s mountainous so if you don’t have car, you need to navigate the public buses, cable cars and taxi situation). This was all make super easy with their help - which allowed us to enjoy the sights of Hakone across two days. It’s also very close lots of the attractions. Would highly recommend this place.

Good, have a big bathtub but quite far away from konbini store its okay responsive customer service
