Welcome to the "OBX Treehouse," only steps away from the most beautiful stretch of beach in the Outer Banks north of Avon's pier. Explore all of the great restaurants, shops, activities, and bars nearby. The house has 2 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom, 1 half bathroom, and an outdoor shower. Enjoy the 55” 4K Smart TV and new upper deck where you can watch the sunrise over the ocean and sunset over the sound. Our garage suite is two rooms with a beach & surfing theme. We have a detached garage and the suite is in back, separate from the house with its own entrance. There's a queen bed, tiki bar, and kitchenette. You'll be secluded with lots of cedars & bamboo around a private deck. Our place is in the heart of Ocracoke with restaurants & shops within walking or biking distance. The Ocracoke Lighthouse & Springers Point Nature Preserve are a 5-8 minute walk.

A charcoal grill is available. A fish cleaning table is available to clean the days catch!

Fall is finally here and it's time for cozy:) Enjoy marsh views with an ocean backdrop from the covered porch of our little modern beach house. Designed and built by us, the Surf Bug has handcrafted details and everything you might need to feel at home while away from home. The beach is just a three minute walk without crossing any streets. I am a meticulous cleaner, and the white 100% cotton bedding is percale, made in Portugal.

CABANA - HATTERAS NATIONAL SEASHORE

Situated in Hatteras Village, our cabana #33 is a free-standing studio, pet friendly condo just steps away from the beach. Enjoy a view of the ocean from the rooftop deck. The National Park Service maintains the adjacent beach which is part of Cape Hatteras National Seashore. This is the only beach in the Carolinas where you can enjoy the warmth and romance of a fire on the beach. Pets are allowed with a $75 pet fee plus tax.

Lightkeeper's Retreat

Bingo! This is it! The closest cottage in terms of driving to the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, Cape Point, and the jetties on Hatteras Island. This cottage is bordered by Cape Hatteras National Seashore with all the abundant wildlife you would expect and a nice level yard with gobs of privacy.
