Galiano Cabin Hideaway

Located on Galiano Island, British Columbia about a 10 minute drive from Sturdies Bay, this island hideaway is a lovely, "open concept" cabin high amongst the treetops. It is perfect for a couple or a couple with a young child that wants to escape from city life and relax in the quiet of the forest. There is one double bed, one sofabed, a dining space, a wood stove for heating along with baseboard heaters, a washer and a dryer, a complete kitchen and full bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. There is parking space in front of the cabin for a maximum of two cars. With large windows, this cabin has a superb view that overlooks the lush Galiano forest and even further with ocean views to the mainland. There are two decks. One covered front deck with deck chairs and a hammock to lounge and look out over Galiano. The rear deck is nicely secluded with a hammock, small bistro table and propane barbecue. It is a 5 minute drive from the nearest beaches, food stores, and shops, and just a 10 minute drive to Montague Harbour Marina Beach and Campsite with moped, kayak, canoe, and boat rentals. There are a number of dining opportunities, cafes, and restaurants close by. This Galiano Cabin Hideaway is unparalleled. It is ideal for a couple seeking relaxation. With this break from the city, you will be snug within the forest and won't feel the need to be anywhere else! There is a 2 night minimum requirement.

Cabin at Juniper Lane Guest House

A quintessential northwest log cabin, tastefully appointed, boasting lots of charm. Located 1.3 miles from the Friday Harbor ferry terminal it offers the convenience of town just around the corner and a bucolic pastoral valley setting and view. It is a great addition for groups that rent the whole Inn, "Juniper Lane Guest House" and want to add an additional dwelling. We have had many happy return guests since opening in 2004! The cabin is 12’X18’. Small, but complete with all you need for a little island getaway. -Full bed, super comfy. -Kitchenette includes fridge, toaster, microwave, and coffeemaker. -Bathroom includes sink, shower, toilet. -WiFi and DirectTV (Due to the remoteness of our island, short internet disruptions are normal.) -Cell service can be spotty on the Island The cabin is located on our property, 100 feet from our house. Nestled in the forest of cedars and firs. Lovely trails and walks nearby. Close to Roche Harbor and English Camp. Peaceful sanctuary with birds, deer and other creatures.
