Another great weekend at Ed’s! It was our group’s second time staying here, and we loved it just as much as the first, which is to say—a lot! Ed is very considerate and responsive, and there’s plenty to do for everyone. We are already looking forward to next year!

It's hands down one of the best AirBnBs in the area! I've stayed at three different homes in the Charlemont area over the past three years, and this is by far the best. The home is in a perfect location near town, yet still feels private and secluded. It had everything we needed to make our stay seamless (keyless entry, TV, heat, all the kitchen utensils you could think of, extra amenities in the bathroom, etc.) They are also incredibly welcoming to pets - they even have extra dog bowls and a dog bed! If you're looking for a beautiful space that feels like home (with a reasonable price), this is it!

We enjoyed a short ski trip to Berkshire East. M's place was comfortable, spacious and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and make coffee. They even had dog bowls and treats for our pup! Snow removal was completed early, allowing us to get out and on the slopes for the day. As M says in the description, you definitely need a vehicle with AWD or 4X4 since you are nestled in the mountains. We enjoyed the bountiful binder with history of the small town and local attractions. I would caution people with young children and older folks about the steep staircase to the 2nd floor where the bedrooms are. The 1 full bath is on the first floor so if you're like me, you need to navigate the stairs in the middle of the night. We didn't mind this since it is part of the charm of a historic building and our family of four including two teens had no problems. We enjoyed our stay and would love to return!

This was a great home away from home. Wish it didn’t rain as much as it did. We really wanted to walk the grounds more. Inside was cozy and warm. Anything you needed it was there. This home is in the midst of beautiful trees and well off the beaten path. My parents accompanied me to visit my daughter at Smith College, and they said they felt “at peace” in this place and would gladly stay there again. My father marveled at the heating/furnace system (he went down to see the huge pellet bag in the basement and wanted to talk with Mary about how it all worked), which is state-of-the-art and makes the large house a constant comfortable temperature. Mary was very responsive and kept us informed, and my parents visited with her when I was in Northampton for a morning. (My father said he could have talked to Mary all day.) For them, the staircase leading up to the bedroom was a bit challenging, and that would be the only downside to our stay. We had everything we needed, and our mantra whenever we were looking for something was “Mary probably thought of that.” Thank you for everything!

We loved our stay at Allison’s cottage in Deerfield! The space is tranquil, clean and surprisingly spacious for a family of 3. Everything was meticulously maintained and thoughtfully decorated. We enjoyed walking into town and the beautiful view of the rolling hills out the front door. Location can’t be beat-minutes to Northampton, historic Deerfield, and VT. We will be back!

We had a great time! Used this place for a short girls trip and it was perfect. Spacious and clean. The hot tub was excellent and outdoor area was cozy. We really enjoyed the air hockey table and gathering in the gorgeous kitchen. Even though the weather was rainy there was plenty to do without leaving the house!

Heather's place is amazing...very spacious and was great for my two week stay for work. It really great it is so close to the highway and also local restaurants and shopping. Will definitely stay again if I am in the area.

I needed a local getaway while some work was being done on my house, and Peter's place was perfect. Comfortable, quiet, clean, and in a beautiful, rural location. Served my needs perfectly, and I will definitely recommend it to visiting friends and family.

We had a really nice stay at Carrie's. It felt cozy and homey and was super easy to find and settle into. There were so many little features around the home that made us feel comfortable and welcome. Even the surrounding area was absolutely gorgeous. The balcony off the back was perfect and was a great spot to enjoy some morning coffee. All of the instructions and descriptions were accurate and clear so we had no trouble finding the place and settling in. We had a great stay and will very likely make another trip out this way. I chose to stay at Donna's a second stay because I appreciate the quiet neighborhood and very, clean comfortable home. Communication with Donna is easy and friendly.

The apartment was perfect for our trip. We were there visiting my niece at Hampshire. It is well kept and Michael’s instructions for getting in were very clear. The place was clean and comfortable. It is close to town and was easy to get around. The game selection was amazing!! And there was enough space to lounge around. We will be back!!

Erin is lovely and so is her carriage house. A huge winter storm came in just before my arrival--lots of snow and many trees down, lost power, etc. In spite of all this, Erin had cleared a parking space for me, shoveled and sanded both driveway and walk ways. The kitchen area was a bit hard to heat but the upstairs bedroom and beautiful sitting area were toasty warm, spacious and very comfortable. I hope one day I'll return in the warmer months when I can be out in the beautiful countryside all around. It's a gorgeous area!

We had a great stay. Bruno’s place is quiet and very comfortable. It worked very well for us during our Northampton trip. Host is communicative and accommodated our needs.

Clean and comfortable. Alexxis's place is great -- good parking and nice outdoor space. Fans in the bedrooms for air and white noise. Clear instructions. If you're doing something in the Deerfield/Greenfield area, this is a great choice.

Our second stay at this private, quiet, beautiful spot in the Berkshire Mountains. We’ll be coming back again for sure!

Wonderful cabin, well set up in a high quality way. The bathroom was excellent, and the bed very comfortable. David was excellent to communicate with.

Gayle was communicative and explicitly clear in her description of The Pondhouse and amenities. Her directions also were very clear. She gets 5 stars for managing expectations. As for The Pondhouse, Gayle describes is as "magical," and here again, she is spot on. It is a beautiful location and an enchanting hideaway. Everything from the furniture, bedding, decor, outdoor shower, etc. is well appointed. I noticed and loved the small details — from the practical perfectly placed hooks to the candleholders and tea lights that were provided and helped enhance the magical experience — that went into creating this little oasis nestled into the woods. Taking a wam shower outdoors in nature was good for the soul. My husband and I went on this much-needed getaway, and it did not disappoint. It rained our first day there, and it was cold but the blankets were more than adequate. For me, it was a chance to reflect and recharge after the recent loss of my mother. We would definitely return.

Can’t say enough good things here. The location is amazing, the home is beautifully decorated. The sunsets are perfect. The hosts are there if you need anything and not if you prefer. Incredible value for the experience. We will be back !

We had a magical stay in the Pine Cabin hosted by Kerri & Greg! The property is a dreamy landscape! It's covered in layered foliage with art touches at every turn! The path to the cabin immerses your imagination. Art & craft supplies are tucked at the entrance along with everything you'll need to relax. Enjoy a cup of tea & prep for a whimsical stay! An outdoor shower with steamy water will awaken your sleepy senses. This retreat is a true representation of peace... PS: After a day in Boston, Kerry made sure the cabin was heated for our return! The BEST!

We had a very comfortable and relaxed stay. It is a lovely and tranquil setting. If you are dreaming of switching off the grid and making a brief forest getaway, this would be the place for it!
