Such a beautiful, clean, cozy place! I felt right at home! I love that there was a view of the lake! Colette was so sweet, I enjoyed meeting her! I would definitely stay here again

This place is just north of Grand Marais and offers a beautiful view of Lake Superior from the deck. It is quiet and private, and there is a great night sky view of the stars.

Robert was a fantastic host. The place was very cozy and peaceful and was everything needed for a wonderful getaway from the rustle and bustle of everyday life. To top it off, my girlfriend and I got ourselves stuck and he helped dig and push our car put and was even willing to help tow us out if it came to that. He went above and beyond anything I’d expect from a host. And I highly recommend staying at one of his locations if you want a great place to stay and a host who has your back. We’ll definitely be back!

Erik was very easy to work with, answered all questions in a prompt manner. House was very clean, and exactly what was described. Sauna was amazing. Highly, highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in the Grand Marais area.

A Perfect Valentine’s Getaway on Lake Superior I can’t say enough about this incredible cabin on Lake Superior—it was everything I hoped for and more! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully designed to create the perfect escape. The cabin itself was stunning, with warm, inviting decor and high-end finishing touches that made it feel both luxurious and cozy. The fireplace, soft lighting, and plush furnishings set the perfect mood for a romantic getaway. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, making it easy to prepare a special meal without missing a thing. The highlight, of course, was the hot tub overlooking the lake. Listening to the icy waves crash while soaking in the warmth was absolutely magical, especially under the stars. It was the perfect place to unwind. Beyond the incredible amenities, the location was unbeatable—private, peaceful, and with breathtaking views of Lake Superior.

Had a great one night stay with my partner and 2 dogs while road tripping across Canada! The unit is attached to the main house with a shared backyard area. Jolanta was kind enough to bring the dog she was caring for inside, so our puppies could run around in the backyard. The bathroom was huge and clean! The bedsheets and pillows were super comfortable. Lovely place to stay!

We enjoyed our stay and probably will return. The views inside and outside were great! I even found a little rock cleft on the beach to sit in. Morning prayer was lovely from the glider rocker in the kitchen looking out on the lake. The decor was cozy quaint with some nice art mixed in. For the 2 of us it was a spacious cottage. As mentioned before, the shower was small. The beds were comfortable but seemed smaller than the double bed we have in our guest room, but that could be perception because the room was also small. But who needs a large bedroom when the other rooms are big and you have all outdoors!

Perfect small cabin for a couple on a weekend getaway up north! Hosts were great and always responsive with questions. Thanks again! We’d love to come back sometime soon!!
