This traditional Highland cottage is spacious, bright and cosy. Original features include a huge 18th century stone fireplace and slate floors, alongside modern comforts such as a wood burning stove, open plan kitchen, shower room and king size bed (+travel cot on request). The cottage is set in a private garden with views of fields and trees. Private parking. Carnoch Cottage is nestled within the picturesque area of Stratherrick, close by to the fabled Loch Ness. It boasts views of Loch Mhor and the Monadhliath Mountains which can be enjoyed from the comforts of the sofa and woodburning stove if the temperamental Scottish weather is up to its old tricks! Steeped in history the local area offers numerous opportunities to delve into Scotland's past by visiting such sites as Culloden Moor, Clava Cairns and the many castles and brochs.

With Restaurants & shops nearby, private off road parking and wifi available and a small enclosed grassed area, this comfortable cottage, made cosy with its wood burning stove (& full central heating) is an ideal base to explore Loch Ness and the wider area. We happily accept a dog here at no extra charge.

2 Hedgefield Cottages

This renovated cottage is an executive quality, two bedroom cottage in an upmarket district of Inverness which is only a 10 minutes walk to the city centre, five minutes from Inverness Castle. The cottage was built in 1880 and Inverness has since grown up around the cottage which once stood on open farmland. Many of the top Inverness restaurants and bars are located near by. All visitors to the Highlands are welcome.
