As a family of 4 including our small dog, we felt at home, loved being on the Matarangi golf course, lake views and easy walkable beach access We made use of the two Trek bikes at the property as well exploring the area. Fully equipped clean kitchen as well as clean bathrooms and linen. The bedrooms are private offering a clever layout throughout. Thanks once again for having us for a short getaway.

David and Lynn are truly delightful! Their accommodations were the perfect place to stay in Tairua. With a warm welcome and a clean, well equipped guesthouse steps from the water we couldn’t have asked for more! We hope to return someday and will recommend their place to others. Peaceful getaway with the best view! Roimata made us a warm loaf of homemade wholemeal bread! Bonus was being able to bring our puppy along! 🐶 Perfect spot to relax 😌

Thiis is a magical place with amazing views and a great location. House was equipped with anything we could need and more. Great coffee, lots of cooking oils and seasonings, comfortable furnishings and a very thoughtful guide book. We can't wait to return. It was my first family holiday since 2017. The AirBnB was a new experience for me, but the hosts were respectful and their place was wonderful! I was able to bring our 2 x dogs which was great and I took them for a walk every morning, greeting others with their dogs on the way. My adult children loved being able to hang out at the beach and sit in the hot tub or use the kayaks on offer. My husband unfortunately worked every day but was able to enjoy to peace and quiet at night. Having a washing machine was practical and saved my workload when we returned home. We visited Charlies Gelato which was yum and I was able to purchase some beautiful wine from Brick Bay vineyard. Matakana was disappointing it felt like Auckland with long lines of traffic and expensive products however, the lady at Honest Chocolate was lovely. We fished off Scotts Landing and caught 5 legal snapper. All in all, I would highly recommend this AirBnB, absolutely the best holiday in a very long time. Thank you.

Great spot right on the waterfront. Spa provides a great option for when the tides our or it gets a bit cooler. Highly recommend, would stay again.

Closely drivable to town for anything you may need, but an amazing view from this side of town! Perfect little place. Well kept and everything you need inside. Would love to come stay again!

Location was fantastic, and the waterfront sunrise view was beautiful, and a great way to start your day! Enjoyed spending time on the porch. Self check in process was easy, and having a dedicated parking spot right at the stairwell was a huge convenience. Amenities were excellent & the space itself was clean and nicely decorated. We also appreciated Donna’s quick responses and willingness to accommodate our needs on short notice. Her hospitality truly made a difference in our experience.

Wonderful stay with wonderful host. Host was really friendly and provided great suggestions for Auckland touring. The location was quiet but close to fun restaurants. The unit was spotless and beautifully decorated. Comfy bed with nice linens. Everything you might need in kitchen, bath and closet. Lots of nice hangers in closet- my pet peeve. Like staying at a nice resort. Highly recommended.

The apartment is spacious and modern with stunning views over the marina. It is well equipped with everything you could need. We received clear instructions making it easy to find and access the property. We had a very enjoyable few days exploring the beautiful coastline around Whitianga.

This is a great location on the canal front with a view straight down the waterway facing north.The property has its own water access boat/jet ski launching ramp and pontoon which is really convenient. The pool ,spa and deck areas get plenty of sun and great views. The house was very tidy and larger than expected with plenty of areas for privacy if anyone needed that. The kitchen is equipped with all thats expected in a home to cook for a family group and theres a second fridge and kitchenette to use which is helpful. We would come back again for sure.

Amy’s house is stunning, the photos don’t do it justice, a really luxurious stay. It is less than a minutes walk on the beach, and the outside shower is a real bonus when coming back sandy, great design!location wise as well as being practically on the beach, all the town cafes and blackies are easily walkable. Outside space is amazing - pool, bar and hot tub, sofa seating all around the house in both sun and shade, and great dining space inside and out. All bedrooms had comfy mattresses and bedding, clean spacious bathrooms. Generous office Desk space and WiFi was strong. Useful to be able to put our bikes in the garage for safety. Amy was responsive and proactive at making sure we had everything we needed for a lovely holiday. Finally, must mention the whole home smells like a luxury resort, together with all the tropical planting outside it was like a holiday somewhere exotic!

Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen!! Die Unterkunft ist eine 15 min. Fährenfahrt von Auckland entfernt. Zum Devonport Ferry Terminal geht man ungefähr 20 min. zu Fuß. Die Zeit vergeht jedoch sehr schnell da der Weg direkt am Meer entlang geht. Der „Cheltenham Beach“ Strand ist vielleicht 50m von der Unterkunft entfernt, perfekt für entspannte Abende am Meer. Die Unterkunft selbst ist sauber, mit frisch renoviertem Bad und schönem Wohnzimmer mit sensationellem Ausblick zum Meer. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und es war alles wirklich sehr sauber! Nun zu den Besitzern der Unterkunft. Bruce und Karen sind mit Abstand die nettesten Airbnb Hosts die ich bisher kennenlernen durfte. Nicht zu aufdringlich und immer extrem hilfsbereit und fürsorglich. Ich kann das Airbnb jedem herzlich empfehlen!

Great family stay for three generations. Local beaches are close by and all amenities you could need are not far by car. Shops for essentials are within easy walking distance. Something to do in all weathers

This was the perfect place for us (4 sisters) treating our 90 yr old mum for her birthday. We rented both upstairs and downstairs so plenty of space and very easy for our mum to get around. The beachfront location was amazing. Gabrielle was very accommodating with a couple of requests we had and always prompt in replying. We would not hesitate to rent here again.

What a unique location! We really enjoyed our time at the house. The views were even more amazing than the pictures can convey. The house was very clean and Lynne was great at communicating as well. No issues at all!

I cannot recommend Kohi Del Mar highly enough. As a family of four, both on holiday and working, it was a fabulous apartment. Great restaurant options within an easy walk, opposite the beach with great views and 15 mins into town. Treat yourself, you won’t be disappointed and it will feel like you’re really on holiday. Really happy with our choice.

Wow, what a stunning place. So quiet and tranquil. instructions were very detailed. Home baking on the table was delicious. lovely to lie in bed watching the stunning view. Perfect place to go to chill and reset. Thank you for your hospitality. Highly recommended Airbnb property.
