Big Fun on False River

Great house to host all 13 of us who were in town for a friends wedding! Lots of space for each of us and was very peaceful place by the water. Jim was very responsive if we had a question. It was very clean and well taken care of home. If we ever made our way back down that way, we would stay again!

1940 Vintage Motor Court Cabin

It is just as describe it is a 1940s motor court cottages. Small but had everything I needed. Getting into the lock box was a little difficult. Clean linens and towels. Small shower, but was fine. Just needed a weekend away and it worked out fine for me. I would recommend it to anyone will definitely come back.

False River Lakefront Fishing Cabin

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming fishing cabin on False River! The cabin had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway, and it was the perfect spot for our family of six (including two kids) and our two dogs. The porch was our favorite place to start each day with a cup of coffee or hot chocolate, taking in the peaceful view. The dock was great for a little fishing and enjoying the serene atmosphere. Inside, the cabin was older but cozy and well-equipped. We were able to cook breakfast together, and the kids had a blast watching movies and playing games in the evenings. It really felt like a home away from home. The host went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, was incredibly responsive, and gave us great recommendations for local activities. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind and spend quality time with our loved ones. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful, family-friendly retreat!

Charming 2 story river house!

I had a truly delightful time at this beautiful home. The interior and exterior decorations were simply perfect for our small gathering with family and friends. I especially admired the banana plants around the house, the trees facing the river, and the outdoor fire pit was ideal for the chilly November weather. I highly recommend this house to anyone seeking a temporary escape from the city, even if it's just for a weekend. Kristy was very kind and even informed me that the river was low, just in case. However, this house definitely has other amenities and decorations to compensate for the river water levels. Kristy made me feel very welcome.

As this is a family tradition to stay on false river every yr for Easter this one was bitter sweet beacause my mom wasn't there she passed away 4 months ago. She definitely would have loved it. The home was very warm and welcoming we had a great time we fished tried our hand at kayaking lol. and just hung around. We did have a few issues but it was fixed right away. It was a little pricy but it was worth the stay everything was beautiful and the hosts was very helpful and respectful and responsive to our needs. We will definitely book ago. Thank you for allowing us in your home. Sincerely The Morgan's

I highly recommend this stay for anyone who will be looking for a quiet, clean space to reside for a couple days. The amenities were top-tier. The whole property from the yard to the inside was super clean. I'll definitely be booking again.
