:) el alojamiento era precioso, uno de los mejores por los que pase en Islandia. estaba todo limpio y ordenado. la casa estaba bien calefaccionada. la zona era espectacular para ver auroras. :( las escaleras eran empinadas, angostas e incómodas. hay una habitación en planta 0 y los baños están uno en planta -1 y otro en planta 1 por lo que de noche para ir al lavabo desde esa habitación es un poco complicado.

The house was perfect for our needs (we are a family of 7)- even big! Kitchen was great and the location was beautiful! Highly recommend!

Best place ever, and it has its own hot spring! Wish I could stay forever!! Did see the Aurora Borealis. Hosts are equally amazing.

We had a fantastic time in the cabin, beautiful views, a fabulous Hot Tub. Loads of space to unwind & a great kitchen, we cooked every evening. Comfy bed, great hot shower & total peace and quiet. Used the Hot Tub every night, Stefan shows you how to fill it. Takes about 2 hours. We saw the Northern lights twice around 1030pm - Midnight. Great base to explore, Akureyri is about 90mins away through an awesome mountain pass. Check the road app for road conditions, we had all 4 seasons on the mountain pass!! Would definitely recommend a stay at this cabin. 3 welcoming dogs, Osk plus 2 others visiting & a very friendly cat, Sigga, who can open the door to get in. 😀

Des hôtes chaleureux et accueillants! Nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison, très confortable, très cosy, nous avons vraiment apprécié les lieux. La literie très confortable, tout était très propre et la cuisine spacieuse est exceptionnelle ! Sabine et son mari sont vraiment adorables! Le cadre de nature autour de cette maison était très agréable et à 10 minutes seulement de la cascade de Godafoss et 45 minutes du Lac Mývatn. Un séjour inoubliable !

Soggiorno fantastico nella casa di Alejandro, host molto reattivo e amichevole, la casa aveva tutto come previsto. Posizione consigliata per esplorare la zona.

Wir hatten das Vergnügen, in einer sauberen und großen, geschmackvoll eingerichteten Ferienwohnung zu übernachten. Die Wohnung war äußerst geräumig und sehr gepflegt, was sofort einen positiven Eindruck hinterließ. Die Einrichtung war stilvoll und bot eine angenehme Atmosphäre zum Entspannen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die hervorragende Lage: Die Boote für die Walbeobachtung sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Für den Weg zum Supermarkt wäre aber ein Auto ratsam. Insgesamt waren wir äußerst zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt und können diese Ferienwohnung uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Absolutely lovely place to stay - our second time here. Spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable, lovely to come home to at the end of each day. Great shower! 2 mins walk from a lovely cafe and public swimming baths with hot tubs. Special thanks to Kristjana for buying 2 yoga mats for the house so that we could use them during our stay.

The lake and a supermarket were just a 3-minute walk away, making morning walks especially enjoyable. We truly appreciated the kindness and comfort during our stay. We would love to visit again in the future!

Our stay here was very comfortable. This was the best equipped of all the kitchens and apartment in general of all the bnb’s we stayed at. Warm and cosy with the underfloor heating. Very easy to find just on the road 85. Highly recommend. Cute cheeky puppies too 🥰
