I am about an hour away but can come to the cabin if I'm needed. Nestled among pines, the cabin is set at the base of Mount Meeker. It's a 5-minute drive from Rocky Mountain National Park. A short walk away is a seasonal lodge that’s open from May to September which offers horseback riding and a convenience store. The sofa bed in the living room is a full, the sofa bed in the den is a queen.

Peaceful Mountain Retreat This beautiful, newly remodeled, Cabin is located on Wood Pecker Hill in the Historic Town of Grand Lake with walking distance to the sandy beach, the boardwalk and the classic hiking trails of Rocky Mountain National Park. It is a stand alone, family owned cabin built in 1903, in the most quiet part of town. Please note! That Dam Cabin!

This historic 309-square foot cabin was built in 1932 for men working on the Shadow Mountain dam. When we found it, we knew this would be the perfect getaway. Our cabin is 4 miles from downtown Grand Lake! It's a short drive to restaurants, shops, hiking, fishing, the beach and kayak/boat rentals. Head to Rocky Mountain National park to hike and see wildlife or stay home and enjoy s'mores around the fire. On a clear night the stars are absolutely breathtaking!

Charming Mountain Cabin

Our cabin has natural lighting and beautiful mountain views. It is a 4 minute to drive Silver Lake where you may fish with badges provided. Hike up to St. Mary's Glacier to see snow in the summer and see a spectacular lake. There is skiing, white water rafting, zip lining and casinos all within a 30 to 40 minute drive. The elevation is a little over 10,000 ft.
