Private Lake Farm Cabin, Pets Welcome

The cabin is a destination all on its own. Fish from the pier or banks on the privately managed eight-acre lake. There is a john boat which is quite old, uses paddles, and is in fair shape (feel free to bring your canoe or john boat.). A paddleboat and paddleboard are available for guest use and swimming. Enjoy walking the property and visit the onsite hoop house and orchard for free seasonal fruits and vegetables. Have fun by the outside fire pit roasting marshmallows with friends and family!

The Caldwell House

Country living, originally built in 1938 this rustic house has all you need for a short visit or a long well needed getaway. Very spacious 2200 square-foot entire house to yourself, fire place, an outdoor fire pit, grill, & access on the property of a fully stocked Pond. Also a great place for your work crew. Full kitchen & WiFi Only 9miles outside of Tuscaloosa, Home of the University of Alabama. This house is Far from perfect, but it is an old homeplace with lots of character in a rustic feel!

Aldi Grocery, Spirits Wine Cellar and Tuscaloosa’s best BBQ are all in a 5 minute drive! Convenient to paved walking trails on the river. We also have a small fishing small lake. Welcome to our large modern 3 BR cabin on Sunset Bay Farm. We are a short and easy 25-30 minute drive to University of Alabama. Guests enjoy morning coffee or an evening glass of wine overlooking fields and paddocks with horses, ponies and goats. Beautiful sunsets. Fenced yard with bbq and fire pit.
