Beautiful private modern mountain home located on top of a huge coffee farm. My family traveled all of Nicaragua with this home being our absolute favorite rental property in the country. The home is located up a remote mountain road from San Ramon where 4x4 is highly recommended. Make sure you pickup all you need for your stay before arriving at the home b/c once you arrive you’ll never want to leave this peaceful magical place. When you arrive at the home you’ll be greeted by the amazing staff that is so helpful and friendly and makes you feel right at home. The room accommodates are perfect for family/friends to have a clean, comfortable, and relaxing stay. The main home has everything you need for cooking family meals, to playing games, or just finding a comfortable spot to read or nap. Our favorites were the amazing views, daily horseback rides, the soccer field games, bird watching, the sound system, and all the staff especially Mercedes! Our stay was an absolute dream adventure!

Nicaragua Matagalpa Farm Stay 1 Bed Cabins

Julie's place is lovely...it is the Quintessential Farm Stay. On this 4+ acre lot you're surrounded by grazing horses(3), vast veggie gardens, coffee growing and you can hear the Mono Congos howling(its awesome). You have the option of staying in a private cottage(this listing) each with a private bath or you can stay in the big house that has private rooms to rent with privates bathrooms(or you can rent the whole house for yourself). There's a community kitchen, living room & large patio all separate from the hosts private living quarters. On top of all that, Julie includes daily breakfast...all were very yummy & vegetarian upon request✨. Julie is a superb chef/Hostess & her staff is welcoming & helpful. The location is remote but busses ran daily & the host will pick you up pretty much anywhere. Great value & peaceful stay with amazing views. Highly recommend✨

We really enjoy our stay with the family. The place is remote enough from the city but not too far. The house looked like the photos and the beds were really good. The surrounding is calm as long as the dogs around stay quiet. Sadly, We were not lucky with the barking in the middle of the night. For the price is a great option, I would come back

Super Erlebnis. Alvaro war immer erreichbar und hat uns alle Informationen vorab gegeben. Traumhafte Aussicht auf ganz Matagalpa. Bänke, ein Tisch und 20 L Wasser werden zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Plantage ist ca 3 km von der Hauptstraße entfernt und der Weg ist nur für Geländewägen geeignet. Wir sind mit dem Taxi nur bis zur Hälfte gekommen und mussten den Rest dann zu Fuß gehen. Die Aussicht ist die Wanderung auf jeden Fall wert!

Parisa’s home was absolutely beautiful and peaceful! My husband, baby and I enjoyed every day of our stay. We felt right at home and enjoyed making meals and sitting out on the screened patio watching the birds fly and sing while looking at the mountains. Parisa’s place is exactly how described. There is AC, beautiful amenities, hot water, comfy bedding and furniture and an amazing view that you would never want to leave. The Airbnb has beautiful grounds to walk on as well if you’re looking to get some steps in or get outside. There is a gorgeous waterfall in Santa Emilia, 20 mins from the Airbnb and the downtown of Matagalpa is just a 17 min drive from the Airbnb. There isn’t WiFi in the Airbnb which is mentioned, though there are full bars of service on the phone and you can bring a hotspot if need be, anyways who wants to be on their phone when you have views like you do from Parisa’s Airbnb! We will definitely be back in the future! Thanks for such a tranquil stay!

Riverfront cabin with access to waterfall for 4

This is such an amazing cabin in the woods, it’s a few steps away from the waterfall and the river runs in front of the cabin. The apartment is really cute, very well equipped with everything needed for our stay. I recommend visiting this place, the views are amazing portrait like. Do consider coming in a vehicle with enough ground clearance since the roads are rural.

This property is absolutely beautiful and modern, located in a stunning area of Matagalpa. I felt completely safe during my stay, and everything I needed was conveniently nearby. The space was incredibly comfortable, with all the amenities that made it feel just like home. I truly enjoyed my time here and will definitely return.

I was very pleased to have found Casa Brenes for a couple of reasons; the place is kept immaculately clean and the owner is very proactive in meeting guest's needs. There is a porch on the second floor where you can chill out in the afternoons. The location is central to downtown and it's about 3 blocks from Matagalpa's cathedral and Morazan park. One of the benefits of every town central park is its free WiFi. Casa Brenes is decently priced and is extremely competitive for the area. I expect to visit them again.

We had 2wonderful Nights with norvins Family. The room was very Big and super clean with a comfortable bed. The shower with hot water was Great . The breakfast was every day very delicious. We directly felt in Love with the Family and Spent alot of Time with there daughter Cinthya. Norvin was so nice to take us with him close to our Next stop in Masaya on His Drive to Managua. Thanks again. We definately felt like Home When I come back to Matagalpa I would definately Stay Here again

A great hotel to stay in! I reserved for one night and ended up staying for two nights, it was very affordable compared to other hotels nearby. Ginotega is a beautiful small town in northern Nicaragua, I will definitely return and stay at the same hotel. The hotel employees were very kind and helpful. Had a great experience!
