We loved our stay at Maria’s place! We stayed two nights and wished we had booked longer. Peaceful setting, super clean, and an easy walk to Irvington where we enjoyed daily coffee and breakfast at The Local, and ate dinner at both Dredge and The Office. We brought our bikes and rented an extra from Rappahannock Outfitters (at Maria’s suggestion) and it was waiting on the porch when we arrived. Biked over to the public pickleball courts—nice outdoor courts—and then to Tides Inn where we enjoyed walking the Shoreline Trail. Spent a magical half day at Hughlett Natural Preserve! At the end of the day we loved sitting on the back screened porch—great for reading, playing games, and listening to the birds in the woods behind the cottage. Don’t miss stargazing over the meadow! Beds were super comfy and clean. We would definitely stay again!

Such a beautiful location with a wonderful view, I came for a staycation just for the night and it was absolutely worth it and exactly what I was looking for. I can’t wait to come back in the warmer months!

I had such a great stay at this property and Doug was a great host! The location is fantastic—it's in a friendly, welcoming community that's just a short walk to great restaurants and coffee shops, which was super convenient. The space itself was clean, comfortable, and had a cozy, inviting vibe that made me feel right at home. If you're visiting Cambridge, Maryland, I definitely recommend staying here—it’s the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Most of the time I travel with just my family but sometimes we get to travel with our labor team also. Angel and Ryan offer great accommodations for all of us. Safe relaxing, spacious and great water pressure!!! We needed extra blanket because it was colder for April the night we were there and Ryan went out of his way to make it work for us. Our team was a mix of needs and they had something for all of us. They care for their house a little extra because it has a few live thriving plants what a great way to provide the true home feeling we so appreciate after hard work and long travels. The neighbor is great ! To accommodate all my teams needs I slept on the daybed and it was actually comfortable. All slept well. Thank you much Definitely worth the short drive out of DC.

Cheryl’s stay was so peaceful, comfortable and fun — even before pool season started. We could not believe how large the yard was and how quiet it was. Amazing wildlife. We saw bald eagles, heron, geese and lots of ducks! The house was squeaky clean and had everything we needed. We watched the stars at night and slept soundly. Downtown St. Michael’s is only about 10 minutes away and full of fun things to do. We’re so happy to be acquainted with the area after staying at Cheryl’s!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this AIRBNB. It was walking distance to a nice Mexican Restaurant as well as to a brewery. We spent hours on the front porch in the nice rocking chairs. The back of the property overlooked the water which was beautiful! It was close to everything in town! The house was clean and had all of the necessities. We also enjoyed the front sitting area during the morning. The owner was responsive and helpful! We would definitely recommend this property.

This home was beautiful, wonderful, and relaxing. The view from the house is so gorgeous and secluded. You really feel like you are on vacation. Of course our host was responsive and proactive. But as a busy mom with two little kids I have to highlight how particularly child friendly this home is! We stayed upstairs which has 2 bedrooms with a jack and Jill bath in between. My boys loved having two single beds at a height they could easily get into and I loved not worrying about them falling out of a gigantic bed. There were toys in the chest of their room with working batteries! Unreal! There was a mini table and chairs. Games and books spanned multiple ages and both my 4 yo and my 6 yo found games to play. My kids are sensitive to cold water (the little one turns blue!) and the heated pool was a HUGE hit. We never even made it to using the kayaks because the kids just wanted to be in the pool. There were even pool toys. I am running out of characters for this review! We will be back!

We had a great time here! The place is within walking distance to the lake for fishing and other activities. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and use of streaming services on the TV!
