This was our second time staying at Julie's lakeside cabin and it was wonderful again. Modern, tidy and very comfortable rooms and beds. The amenities are fantastic - we loved the arcade and watching wildlife around the pond (saw bald eagles, osprey, and even a snapping turtle! - the hot tub was a great way to relax and warm up after a day at the beach. Convenient short drive to several beaches to comb for fossils - lots of good places to eat in and on the way to Solomons. Julie is a great host and a great communicator too!

This is a wonderful place on a large creek off the Chesapeake Bay. This place oozes with charm and ambiance and feels so peaceful. We spent the first day just relaxing and doing nothing but looking at the water and chilling on the front porch. The house is updated on the inside and has a large lot with kayaks and a fishing pier. Great hiking at the natural preserves in the area too. We're grateful to the hosts for opening their home to us and we'll definitely come back.

Beautiful house and beautiful view. Outdoor jacuzzi with the view is not to be missed! Gorgeous and clean home. The private site made it an amazing getaway from busy life. Thank you, we will be back soon!!!

This was our second time staying at this cute place. We knew what to expect; took all linens, pillows, towels, kitchen towels, etc. as she lists. Also took two door mats and non-skid mats for the showers (the master shower was quite slippery so I knew to bring a non-skid mat). The place was pristine, from the kitchen to the bathrooms. The floors were spotless. Landscaping is mature and nice. The little beach was perfect for us -- while it is not private, and anyone can use it, during the two times we have visited, spring and fall, during the off season, there were only a couple of folks who walked; nobody set up chairs; we had it to ourselves. I imagine during the summer that is not the case. Liezel is delightful to deal with, friendly, responsive, concerned. We love her little funky log house, and will definitely return! We absolutely loved our stay at Cinthia’s cabin. Everything about the home was so beautiful. Very quiet and peaceful surrounding. Didn’t have any trouble getting around. The rest of the ladies enjoyed the cabin as well. I would absolutely book and recommend this space to anyone!

Had a great time at the Elderberries cottage! The views were spectacular, and you could take them in from the enclosed porch, the open deck, and even the living room. The entire setup was perfect for a vacation/remote work getaway, and the kitchen has everything you need. WiFi worked great, and the smart TV supported pretty much any streaming service you'd want. Rachel was friendly and super responsive; we hope to stay there again sometime.

We piled 5 adults and a toddler into the house on Kelley Neck Drive, and it worked just fine! Bathrooms, AC, kitchen, appliances, etc, all worked perfectly, the furniture was comfortable and in good shape, and the house was spacious. The yard was perfect for us, but might have been small for older kids, and I wish there had been more than one kayak (but even one kayak was a bonus!) The heron was fishing at the mouth of the our private lagoon every morning, and an osprey and eagle visited as well. We barely heard any neighbors, and the nights were quiet and peaceful. Thank you!

Basia was very attentive and responsive before and after our arrival. Any time we communicated with her, we got an immediate response. The cottage was beautiful and perfect for the two of us and our dog. Thank you!

Lorena was a great host from start to finish. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed. We did have a dog run up to the porch barking but that is no fault of our wonderful host. We sure loved the view and peaceful atmosphere. We would absolutely return.

Definitely recommend.

I recently stayed at Crooked Elm and was thoroughly impressed. The place was impeccably clean, and the attention to detail was evident in every corner. The host's responsiveness was top-notch! One feature that stood out was the guest binder. It was incredibly detailed, providing clear instructions on everything from using the fireplaces to local attractions and dining recommendations. This made it easy to settle in and feel at home. It had everything we needed for a cozy stay! Overall, my stay at Crooked Elm was delightful, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, well-managed retreat.

...I didn't know what to expect, as one never does. Cheryl provides way more than any hotel in the region. I have been comfortable from the moment that I arrived. Every little discovery of the amenities is actually joyous. She is very attentive to the subtleties of hosting! The cottage views the water and the treeline...so peaceful, and the wildlife is rare and amazing, you never know what you are going to see. I will stay here again based off my first experience. The weather blessed us with warmth upon arrival to Pizza Friday. Although making pizza was a new skill we gained in the moment, the fun we had while doing it was everything we wanted. We had a chance to use the fire pit, kayaks and games in the house. The kids enjoyed sleeping in tents on the ground and the Easter egg hunt scattered along the lovely property. The host was super responsive and allowed us to check in early at no additional cost. I think I may have messaged him a few times about AC and fire wood and there was no hesitation on getting back to me. The family loved this Airbnb and we have already planned an additional trip in the future.

My Fiancé and I had an incredible weekend at the Boathouse, hosts were very responsive and helpful, house was beautiful and clean and had a view to die for!

Gerri's countryside cottage was just as described. I was in awe of the natural surroundings and the privacy of the cottage. I had the pool all to myself, which was very relaxing and just what I needed. If you enjoy walking, there are many areas on the estate to explore and enjoy the natural views. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the daily grind, I highly recommend Gerri's cottage. You will not be disappointed. It's an outstanding Airbnb. I would return in a heartbeat. This is a great location and a jewel in the rough.. a classic seaside cottage. If you are looking for a sanitized "fake" shore location this is not it. Deal Island is an old working harbor and the cottage is a lived in and homey eclectic place. The views are amazing, the rooms and layout are fun. There are some details that are worn, but they do not effect the stay. Its a great place to retreat and to connect with the elements and nature! David was very helpful and responsive! Highly recommended for a rural retreat, peace, quiet and nature on the water!
