Clean and comfortable. Everything we needed for our family of four. Clear instructions and great communication from the host.

We descended on Niall’s property for a book club weekend, after reading Northanger Abbey and wanting to visit Jane Austen’s house (approx 20min drive away). The house was so remote and peaceful, an expansive garden with beautiful views. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and the living room was perfect for a comfy chat. We did have a few issues which were all speedily resolved by a friendly, proactive host. All in all, a fabulous weekend.

James was good at communicating, and left clear instructions for everything. He also met us on arrival. The bungalow was as per the description and photos (please note that bed 3-twin room has drawer clothes storage but no hanging space). It's clean, light and airy. The bungalow was in a quiet location and yet close to amenities and a short walk to the beach. We had 3 cars between us and were easily able to fit them on the driveway. We would happily return!" I can't think of anything else that any potential guest would need to know above the information on Airbnb and reviews already left.

We had the most amazing stay at Eileen's property, Eileen was so kind and so accommodating to us and for that we are grateful, Myself and my children had a great time celebrating New Year's eve, so much to do they didn't want to come home! Thank you for all the added extras and for allowing us to make such special memories xx

Would highly recommend this property Lou and Graham were always very responsive throughout the whole process and took the trouble to make several local eatery recommendations. The flat was really lovely, clean and so well equipped with everything you could possibly need during your stay. Great location to explore the island and would definitely stay here again if we were to revisit.

Title: A Truly Memorable and Restorative Stay Review: I had a truly wonderful experience staying at Gerston Hall Wine Keeper's Annexe in Strrington. The hosts, Lisa and Martyn, were incredibly warm and welcoming. They were always approachable and responded to any questions promptly and courteously, which made me feel at ease throughout my stay. The accommodation was exactly as described—peaceful and comfortable. Upon arrival, I was touched to find a thoughtful selection of breakfast essentials including bread, milk, butter, homemade jam, coffee, and tea. This warm gesture was a lovely welcome and set the tone for the rest of the stay. The surrounding nature was absolutely beautiful. I woke each morning to the sound of birdsong and ended each day marvelling at the star-filled night sky. Visiting in spring meant I was lucky to see fresh green foliage, bluebells, and wild garlic in full bloom, creating a truly picturesque and healing landscape. The property includes a vast vineyard. Carolyn, myself and mally the labrador had a great week , very peaceful, sitting on the patio watching the ships sail past. Bryce was very helpful, and lives on site , if a problem was to arise. The accommodation was spacious spotless and well equipped.

Michael was extremely warm and welcoming upon arrival. We found the accommodation excellent with a comfy bed and all the amenities. He had very kindly offered to swap out the regular milk for oat for the breakfast they provided which was very accommodating. Overall we loved our stay!
