We have just returned from an extraordinary week at the wonderful Villa Sunshine. We were a group of 5 friends, and Nisa's villa is perfect. It is a peaceful and serene space, and yet easy to walk to local shops and close to everything in a taxi. A huge thank you to Wati and Wayan, and all of the staff who made us feel so welcome and looked after us the whole week. Nothing was too much trouble, and the house and the gardens and the pool were always so clean. Their kindness and attention to detail were so appreciated. We felt very spoiled. Nisa is a gorgeous host who obviously loves her villa and wants everyone to feel at home. We all totally recommend staying, and we can't wait to return. Thank you!

Airbnb review We had an absolutely wonderful 15-night stay at this villa in Ubud. The photos are very true to life – what you see is exactly what you get, and the place is even more charming in person. The pool was a true delight, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The villa is about a 5-minute walk from the car drop-off point, but Made and the staff were fantastic – they met us on arrival, collected our luggage, and even gave us a scooter ride straight from our transfer to the villa. A really thoughtful and seamless welcome! The location is excellent, with several great restaurants within easy walking distance. There’s a local laundry service nearby that was incredibly cheap and efficient – next day service every time. Bintang supermarket is about a 15-minute walk away, which was very handy for stocking up on essentials. We chose to hire scooters during our stay, and Made was super helpful in organising that for us. He was always just a message away.

We had an incredible stay at this truly special villa. Nestled in the middle of lush rice terraces, coconut trees, and mountains, the setting is absolutely breathtaking—photos don’t do it justice. Our host, Romain, was brilliant—very responsive and helpful, providing lots of useful information and suggestions before our stay. But what made the trip unforgettable was Koplo, our driver and guide. He lives in the village and gave us a real insight into Balinese life—introducing us to his family, showing us around his village, and taking us well off the tourist trail. Highlights included Batukaru Temple at sunrise, cycling through the Jatiluwih rice terraces on e-bikes, stopping at a coffee plantation and a natural hot spring—all organised by Koplo. He also arranged delicious Balinese meals cooked at the villa. If you're after nightlife and beaches, this place isn't for you. But if you want peace, nature, stunning scenery and an authentic cultural experience, Villa Loti is perfect!

Truly, it was a wonderful stay I had with my parents in Doni's villa. Astri and Desa were so helpful and kept everything clean and organized. They also taught us a lot about Balinese culture during Nyepi. The decor is marvelous and so is the location: close enough to Ubud but far enough away to be relaxing. The villa has its own private pool along with a second pool in the common grounds, which are wonderfully landscaped. We can't wait to return for another stay soon.

Lovely house overlooking a rice terrace and small private garden including a koi pond and Bali hut. Each bedroom had its own large bathroom and are separated by a full kitchen where Putu cooked us delicious breakfast each morning. It’s short walk down the beach, and you can walk to Balian Beach at low tide. Wayan can also organise a scooter for you to hire. Backs onto the main road so unfortunately a little noisy with traffic, but otherwise we loved staying there.

Op een ontzettend mooie plek tussen de rijstvelden ligt dit fijne huis. Je voelt je er gelijk thuis. Het is heel smaakvol ingericht. Het ligt erg rustig gelegen maar toch loop je zo naar de drukte van de stad. Als je dat al wilt. Want ook in deze buurt zijn heerlijke restaurantjes, yoga en massages. Twee nachtjes was veel te kort. Bedankt voor de gastvrijheid en de fijne service. Hopelijk komen we nog eens terug.

Kadek and his family were the loveliest hosts. Very responsive and helpful. The breakfast was divine. The level of care put into the tree house and the luscious garden and secluded pool is unreal. Thank you !

Our stay at this villa in Bali was absolutely perfect! The property is stunning, with a beautiful blend of modern design and traditional Balinese touches. The pool was the highlight—crystal clear and surrounded by lush greenery, offering a private oasis to relax. The bedrooms were spacious, with incredibly comfortable beds, and the living area was perfect for unwinding. The host went above and beyond, providing exceptional service and thoughtful touches, like daily checkins and daily housekeeping. The location was ideal, close to fantastic restaurants and attractions but still peaceful and secluded. We can’t recommend this villa highly enough and can’t wait to return!

Extra ordinary in all aspects ! Staff is excellent, food really good. Sleeping in Cobra with your “adult” kids is an experience I wish everybody could live. Very reasonable prices… I hope nothing changes as the accommodation is all over Insta.

Our stay at this Airbnb was nothing short of extraordinary! The moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking natural views – a stunning blend of forest, rice fields, sea, and mountains all in one place. Waking up to this four-in-one panorama felt like a dream. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with fresh and tasty options that made our mornings even better. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. This place is a hidden gem, perfect for anyone seeking peace and tranquility amidst Bali’s natural beauty. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay at the villa. The villa was as described and as presented by the pictures. The supporting staff was also great, with Komang providing great breakfast and helping out with everything we needed and Kadek who drove us everywhere we wanted to go.

Amazing villa! -The villa was exactly like the photographs and listing and actually exceeded our expectations. -The host was great at communicating with us and was very friendly! The host was accomodating in organising all of our requests, yet we still had privacy at all times. We had one issue with a broken key and this was sorted within the same day and the team were very responsive. -There was security for outside of the villa and the surroundings from the afternoon until the following morning each day (which was an added bonus even though the villa is very safe and secure). -Housekeeping were immaculate and very thorough. -The pool is great and the AC in the bedrooms was excellent. The views from the property are unbelievable and you get the sun pretty much all day. -The guest services are very impressive from the spa services, to the pool decoration. The chef came to do breakfast one morning and an American BBQ (both were very good value for money and amazing quality).

We can’t say enough about our experience staying here. One of the best if not the best stay in Ubud. Right in the center of everything, super convenient. The staff was amazing and very helpful from the very beginning of our stay. Whatever was needed the host was a message away. The place looks just like the pictures, everything was just amazing, from the complementary breakfast to the massages. 10/10 would definitely stay here again when we visit again.

Je ne sais par quoi commencer… à peine reparti on pense à y retourner. Ce fut le plus beau séjour que j’ai pu faire, un lieu calme, paisible ressemblant à un rêve. Où que l’on regarde la vue est à couper le souffle, que ce soit les rizières, les palmiers, la forêt, le mont batur, le lever du soleil le matin, l’atmosphère une fois la nuit tombée. Que de souvenirs gravés dans ma mémoire. La nourriture y est excellente, le staff est si réactif, si aimable, si accueillant, tout est pensé pour vous faire passer les plus belles vacances de votre vie. Merci pour tout

We’re reluctantly leaving this review, but of not fault of Jennifer’s, but for our own selfish reasons..LOL..We fear that if we adequately describe how AMAZING this place is, that it’ll be extremely hard for us to book again in the future. Not only is the property exactly as described, but coupled with the out of this world amazing staff, this place is truly a dream. Now before I run out of characters allotted, I will make mention that the drive/ride from the airport to the villa is about 3 hours, but if you’re willing to accept that, then welcome to PARADISE! Every meal that was prepared was not only delicious, as well as nutritious and FRESH! We felt right at home and welcomed, whether in the villa our out in the community. This trip was our honeymoon, and Bali and Villa Sedang will forever be a part of our love story. Thanks so much Jennifer and staff!

No words could begin to describe how beautiful and special this villa stay has been for our family. Suksma Agus,for your taking care of every need. You are amazing and the trips you organised for us were exclusive and we will remember our time in the real unspoilt Bali. I don’t even have words to describe how perfect this place was for us to come and relax from our stressful lives. The views, the rooms, the staff were all as described. The best part was not having to make decisions as Wayan took care of everything. We let him cook our meals to experience true Bali culture. Yum! The massages and facials on site are a must. Daily! And let them take you north to the waterfalls. It is not a tourist area so very special with a local beer to cool down after the hiking. The beach here with the black sand and sparkly mica is nice to enjoy the sounds of the waves and enjoy daily walks. Thank you so much Diana for letting us utilize your beautiful space. We were blessed beyond words at all of the calming details you put into the design. All of the Balinese people are so friendly and have hearts of service. Our flight was late and they we’re so flexible to change pick up from Airport. DO NOT Attempt to drive here. Trust them. It is inexpensive

Es war fantastisch. Wir haben uns gleich wohlgefühlt. Redi und Kadek haben uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt und sind so herzliche Menschen. Sie haben uns mit sehr feinem Essen und Frühstück verwöhnt. Die Villa ist noch schöner wie auf den Fotos. Die Aussicht, die Ruhe und Natur einfach wunderschön. Toller Pool, unsere Kinder liebten diesen grossen Pool. Der Gärtner hat den Garten schön gepflegt. Unser Driver Kadek hat uns wunderschöne Orte gezeigt und war ein toller Begleiter. Der Norden hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und nur in diese Villa!

David's place is the most beautiful place. The photos didn't do it justice. I will always dream about going back to that magical Ubud Airbnb. The master bedroom just had the most beautiful scenes. I wish we could have stayed forever. Gede was also amazing. He helped us with lots of things and even did our laundry for us. He was always there with a smile when we got back to the house.

A beautiful villa in a quieter part of Ubud. Beautifully landscaped accommodation and plenty of space for different family groups to have privacy. Housekeeper Ayu was amazing, so lovely, attentive and such a great chef. Would definitely come back.

I had one of the best stay here and I have stayed in a couple of properties In Bali. In a nutshell it's 5 star resort on a budget. Host is friendly and the staff is friendly and responsive. 10/10.

Gede is the best host I’ve experience in Airbnb! He was so kind to pick up us on the our hotel and assits us in Ubud tours. He even invited us to his house and meet his family and we had a great lunch together. We definitely had a great time in his place and will definitely book this and recommend this to my friends. ❤️ Terimah Kasih, brother Gede!!
