Super amazing location! Friendly hosts and super responsive! They were flexible with our check out time because our car stopped working! If I come back to Dunsmuir, I will definitely book again!

We enjoyed our stay at the Redwood Cottage! It was peaceful, and the home is very comfortable. Jessie provided clear and timely instructions. We would stay here again.

This place was clean, comfortable, and charming! We enjoyed our stay, and loved how cozy it felt. Loved the historic feel of it, and particularly enjoyed the record player and a couple of the albums. ♥️

I highly recommend this accommodation. Lauren consistently demonstrated kindness and was very supportive with any requests we had. The location is exceptionally convenient, being centrally situated. The property was meticulously tidy and clean throughout. Overall, it was an excellent stay.

I really enjoyed my time at Trish’s place in Dunsmuir near Mt. Shasta. The yard and home are both cozy and lovely — I thoroughly enjoyed many peaceful moments in each. I spent most of my time out exploring nearby nature spots or in-around the town of Shasta, and found the home a great nest to adventure from and return to for more quite times. Trish’s communication was great and I appreciated her recommendations!

It’s a great location close to the Nordic and downhill ski areas- with a beautiful view of Mt Shasta! The kitchen was well equipped (no cheap cooking stuff) and everything was clean and lovely. We had a great time and Scott is an amazing host. Very responsive and made sure he communicates properly. The checkin and checkout process was a breeze. The location is perfect. Very close to restaurants and freeway. Very clean and everything as per the description. We will surely be back and will recommend other friends as well

Very nice place, walking distance to the grocery store and a number of good restaurants, very good hot water for the bath, comfy bed, would highly recommend!

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay. Everything was as described in the description. The Butterfly’s rest was in reasonable distance (walking & driving) to all of the spots we wanted to check out. Thyra and Christine were very responsive and thorough with their instructions and recommendations. I would definitely recommend this place and stay here again!

Cute apartment in an historic building. An easy walk to downtown and we enjoyed being close to the railway, we love the sound of a train. (Light sleepers take note: there weren’t a lot of trains coming through but you do hear them when they do.). The king size bed was very comfortable and the towels were nice and thick.

A nice, peaceful and beautiful place. Conveniently located, almost 15 mins to Mt Shasta City. Host was very friendly, responsive and accommodated our odd hours checkin and checkout. Very knowledgeable about the area as well.

John was very friendly and welcoming. We felt completely at home on his and Sandy’s beautiful property! It’s a peaceful and enchanting getaway in the forest, yet an easy five minutes from town. We didn’t want to leave.

Me and my wife had a wonderful 2 night stay at thyra's place, thyra has been extremely helpful with clear and detailed instructions , the place is so close to the hedge creek falls , you can simply walk to the falls , its a very beautiful fall . we would definitely like to come back here next time, Thank you thrya for being an excellent host and letting us stay at your place :)

This place is great, especially for the price. While it's just a 1 bedroom apartment, it feels much bigger than the photos show, especially the bedroom. The bed is super comfy and the bedroom doesn't share a wall with neighbors, just the carports, it's quiet. It's within reasonable walking distance to all the shops, restaurants, etc. The shower has the strongest water pressure of any shower I've ever been in. It's amazing. I'll definitely stay here again if it's available.
