We offer a place like no other. The Mamaku Roost is a large, unique, private & peaceful oasis with easy access/parking in a semi rural setting (but super handy location) 5 minute drive to town, train & beach. Art, antiques, original wooden floors, log burner, double glazing/curtains, modern hot shower, heated blankets, kitchenette, fast wifi, black out curtains. Outside has a covered patio, outdoor fire/furniture, fountain, native bush, farm, garden, beehives, friendly animals. Guests say WOW.

Historic train carriage (no cleaning fee)

Te Pahika ( the runaway) was originally built in 1907 as a guards van and crashed at Moana in 1963. It literally did runaway. On site parking and outdoor seating to enjoy our beautiful sunsets. There is a takeaway/dairy close by as well as Hotel/ Restaurants all just a short drive or cycle. Quiet country style accommodation unique location

Ikamatua B &B - The accomodation is set in a rural garden overlooking the village of Ikamatua. The surrounding land is our own farmland. The surrounding rivers have excellent fishing. Great walks nearby. Good stopover when heading towards glaciers if heading south or north towards Nelson, Blenheim, or Picton. The local hotel in Ikamatua does great evening meals, this is only 5mins from accommodation.
