This spot is perfect for travelers. The tram stop is a 2 minute walk, the bus stops right in front. There are charming restaurants within a few steps, Ocean Terminal is two stops down on the tram. There are convenience stores within a couple of blocks. The waterfront is lovely for a stroll, right out your front door. Ian was so responsive when we had a question and very helpful. The space is comfortable, spotless, and everything you could want for your stay. And there’s an elevator!!! I would absolutely recommend this spot and, if I return in the near future, I will definitely try and book this spot again! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

One of the best and most original Airbnb's we have stayed in. Very well-equipped with beautiful furnishings and features in a historic building. Lovely views on to the Water of Leith. The location is superb, situated in the best area of the Shore, with many bars and restaurants and lovely walks along the Water. Great public transport links to Edinburgh, including tram. Another bonus was the private parking, and accessibility. The early check in was a bonus meaning we could enjoy a full afternoon in the area. If I were to specify our ideal place to stay on a visit to Edinburgh, Leith - this would be it . Finally, thank you, Robert, for the great welcome packs, milk, fruit and treats etc. We can't wait to come back for another short stay.

Clean and stylish place, nice utensils, clean beddings though price a bit high, friends said worth it

This apartment was everything everyone else has said about it. To arrive and see the view from the lounge was draw-dropping. The welcome package was very much appreciated, the best so far. The bus stop right outside was perfect and made trips into the city so easy. The village has some wonderful pubs which we enjoyed. The 2 flights of stairs were a bit of a challenge to get our suitcases up, and once up there the apartment is single level. David was really responsive and sorted out a heating issue immediately. The shower is walk-in, which is easier than being over a bath. My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Lucy's flat by the sea in North Berwick was very comfortable and spacious. We liked the nearness to the beach (particularly my granddaughter) and the views to the Bass Rock from the sitting room. It was very well equipped and had everything we needed. There is plenty to do in North Berwick and it was only a short walk to the Seabird Centre and even shorter to the excellent local museum, which was a great place to visit on a wet day. We would particularly recommend the boat trip to Craigleith and the Bass Rock where we saw great numbers of gannets and rafts of puffins. There are some interesting shops in North Berwick's High Street with an old-fashioned sweety shop (much appreciated by my granddaughter), a high quality wool shop, and the inestimable Bostock Bakery for indulgent cinnamon buns and croissants. There are plenty of good restaurants too. Being without a car was fine, as all these attractions are just a short walk from Lucy's flat.

Excellent venue for a couple to stay to explore the East Neuk. Comfortable bed; clean and user friendly en-suite; good range of kitchen utensils for those that like to cook. Right on the harbour front with views across the road to watch the tide come and go. Helen was very hospitable and all the local walkers were very friendly.

Unique, fun spot for our first trip to Edinburgh. Great pubs, coffee and transport nearby.

I booked this property for my husband and his 3 friends for his 40th birthday. Wallace was extremely communicative at all times, and was very welcoming to the group on arrival. One of the guests arrived early and while Wallace explained the place would not be ready till check in, the guest was able to fish on the loch till later in the day, and thoroughly enjoyed himself! The property was as described, perfectly clean and the location was exactly what I was looking for when I booked. It was easy to find, and the walking guides and maps of the local area were very helpful too. Would book again!

The house has everything you could ever need for you’re stay plenty of space for everyone and the terrace and garden were amazing to sit out in the sun and the fully enclosed garden gives you peace of mind when taking dogs and kids. Would definitely recommend!!

Lovely find. The Smoke House is like stepping into a warm hug. We all loved the quirkiness of it. The fabulous social spaces. Really enjoyed our stay. So generously stocked with essentials.

We had a perfect Spring break in Aberfeldy at Vickys. The home was squeaky clean, cosy and well equipped in a central location in Aberfeldy. Everything we needed was within walking distance and there are surprisingly good places to wine and dine. The weather was also perfect and local scenery is majestic. Highly recommend it!

One of our favourite properties we have ever stayed in from Air B and B. The lodge was very cosy with beautiful views particularly from the kitchen and sitting room, of the sea on one side and open fields on other. Great location also- just yards outside was the door was the choice of beautiful cliff walk or Coldingham Sands beach. Kitchen is also very well equipped, although due to the position of the lighting was a little dark when it trying to preparing food as you end blocking the light with your back. Bed and sofa very comfy! Only difficulty was that we struggled to work the shower in bedroom but we’re able to use the one over the bath in the main bathroom so wasn’t really a problem Would love to visit again and will be recommending to others!

My family had an absolutely amazing long weekend at Charles’ home. Kenneth supported a very smooth check-in and was super friendly and responsive. I really appreciated that the hosts were very responsive and also transparent about the feasibility of staying in their home with a baby. The home itself was spotlessly clean, had a beautiful kitchen, and was very peaceful to relax while watching the river flow by. We will be back!

I have just returned from a 3 night stay in Anstruther over Hogmanay . we were a party of 2 couples and found the house to be a good size for us. As other viewers have said the bedrooms being on different floors affords a good degree of privacy. 2 of the bedrooms have lovely sea views. The living area is comfortable and cozy but might be a bit of a squeeze for 6 adults. the location is excellent for the fife coastal walk and there are plenty of good local pubs and restaurants within walking distance. I would recommend the tall ship with the only proviso that the many stairs would make it unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This is a beautiful apartment in a perfect location. It was spotlessly clean in all areas, lovely quality of bedding and super comfortable beds. The kitchen has all utensils, cutlery and cookware provided. You will not be disappointed with this property.

Amazing stay at Karen’s apartment. Fully stocked with everything you’d need. The view was gorgeous and you’re right on the beach. Next to the bus stop to get right into Edinburgh. Had a fantastic time and will definitely think of returning.

It was a great stay. We felt at home because the host made efforts to give us a pristine clean house and the kitchen had a lot more than what we could expect- including a kit for breakfast/snacks, milk, rice and much more. I would love to stay there again.

Jane's property was fantastic. Everything you could want is provided in a great central location with an amazing view across the Tay. Internet is fast enough for streaming tv and the beds were extremely comfortable. Car park felt secure too. Jane's comms were quick and helpful. Thank you.

Just back from a lovely 4 day break at “Rockstowe”. The house is in the perfect location, wonderful views & 5 minute walk into town. The house is lovely & there was nothing we needed that wasn’t there. A return trip is a definite.
