Fantastic place to stay as a pair of families with small children. great activities (pool, indoor play, outdoor play park) for the little ones

The West Wing has been a great stay. It’s a cool 17th century house, which has been really well decorated. There’s plenty of inside and outside space to read and put your feet up with a countryside view. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking equipment, olive oil, coffee, tea etc, and shower gel and shampoo is provided in the en suite. The owners hid some chocolate in the house as a little surprise - very thoughtful. Another thoughtful thing was offering up fresh eggs from the hens outside in the garden. The owners left lots of helpful instructions and recommendations of places to visit. They’re friendly and welcomed us at the beginning and warned us of an issue with a road before we left to help us on our way home. Location wise this Airbnb is perfect. It’s a short drive from beautiful places like Woolacombe, Croyde and Exmoor. It’s very close to the SW Coastal Path, so you can easily hire bikes in Barnstaple and ride part of the path. I would definitely stay again 😃

Beautiful, spacious, unique place, with lovely decor and finished with elegance. Well thought out accommodation with everything you need. The place suited us perfectly for 9 guests. Exactly as described on the site. We struggled a bit with the amount of people to number of bathrooms, (1 bathroom, plus 1 en-suite) but not really an issue, just a bit of planning. The host, Rose was great, really responsive, approachable and friendly. We would definitely recommend this place and love to book again.

Beautiful house very easy walk through the park to the nearby shops. Everything you could need for a weekend away handy and even a shop across the road for groceries! Good communication about the trip and real pleasure to stay here

We had such a lovely month staying in this gorgeous barn conversion with our dogs. Sarah and Shaun are wonderful hosts. Very thoughtful and kind. They accommodated us with a much later check out which helped us massively. Cannot recommend highly enough ⭐️

We had a fantastic weekend break in Woolacombe! The apartment was in a perfect location—just a short walk to the beach and local shops—and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Clean, well-equipped, and a great base to explore the area. We’ll definitely be back!

Tracy & Richard's place is very convenient and stocked with all the essentials needed for a weekend getaway or even a longer vacation. It's in a great location with a couple of minutes away from the local pub and a 30 mins walk from Lyme Regis.

Well located for centre of town and also the hospitals. A really lovely comfortable well equipped and stylish apartment. Anna Lisa was very responsive to any queries responding straight away which was great .

The apartment was well located and had all amenities. From our arrival to leaving, everything was available within the apartment, which was clean, comfortable and perfect for a long weekend. The area is well located, close to the sea and the nice town on Bidport, with a nice local market on the Saturday morning (worth a walk - around 30 minutes). Travelled to Weymouth but we recommend the 53 bus for the views along the cliff.. amazing and worth the ride just for this view (take the upper level if a double-decker). We'll be back, just for the location and the people. :-)

Our stay at Buckland house was lovely, our accommodation was perfect with everything we needed, the surroundings peaceful and perfect, we hope to definitely return.

The apartment is a characterful and beautiful, well equipped, spacious space which felt relaxing and interesting at the same time. It fulfilled our desire to stay in somewhere that wasn't an ordinary, bland, featureless room. It was filled with curiosities and museum pieces whilst also being comfortable and quite lovely. Stylish, cozy, and surprisingly spacious apartment in a perfect location—just steps from amazing restaurants, a wine cellar, creperie, and charming pubs. Ideal for walks. The host was super helpful with great local food tips. Beds were incredibly comfortable!

This is our second stay in this lovely apartment. It is perfect for us as it is private and peaceful, yet you can easily walk to the town where there is plenty to see and do, good places to eat and drink. Also lovely walks up and down the river in other directions. Lyme Regis itself has loads to offer in terms of history, literature and plenty to do.

The comms and welcome were perfect. Great position with amazing views across the bay. Walking distance to everything you need. Very clean and tidy. Beds were good enough. Seems a little bit expensive for a fairly old style caravan but we had a great time and knew what we were getting so overall very happy with this booking. Thank you for being so friendly.

Had a wonderful time. The place felt very secluded with amazing amenities and stunning sea view. Neil was very friendly and helpful too and even left us chocolates and champagne to help us celebrate a special occasion. Would love to stay here again sometime.

We stayed over the long Easter weekend at Jacuelines place with our extended family for a special birthday. The home is beautiful, exactly like the photos, and felt large enough for us to be together and have space at the same time. The garden is also lovely, with a beautiful pond and lots of space for games - the shed had plenty equipment we used from racquets to balls to hammocks! The kitchen was well stocked and easy to navigate - we did a lot of cooking whilst there and it was easy to cook for 15 of us without issue. Staying here really made the time together extra special. I should add the host was receptive, helpful and accessible - v v easy to navigate the process of renting her home and sorting out anything we needed - thank you!

An absolutely unique and beautiful house, set amongst lovely grounds. The Christmas tree in the living room was such a nice touch as was the welcome basket full of goodies. We can thoroughly recommend exploring the woods and beach path behind the property. We loved sitting by the fire reading and hanging out in the cinema room in the evening. Thank you for such a quiet and peaceful stay.

I have to come clean - I am an enthusiast of Penarth, the architecture of the town, the community feel, and everything about the place. Sarah's place, being among the oldest houses in the town, was a must for all the things I was looking for. Sarah herself is friendly and has clearly put a lot of herself into the house. My journey time to Penarth could have been subject to delays, being more than 500 miles... but we had good communication and met up without difficulty at the house. All in all, the house was cosy and well appointed. It also was a great base for strolling into Penarth Town centre and even, across the barrage, to Butetown and even Cardiff. I would thoroughly recommend Sara's house for your stay.

We loved its quirkiness, but Weeke Barton is an old building with uneven floors and low ceilings and spiral staircases which were a challenge. The stairs didn’t defeat us, but they are tricky. The rooms are warm even when a log fire is needed, which is recommended, and the beds are very comfy. All the bedrooms are great and full of history and character, which is the same for the whole of Weeke Barton. The location is also ideal for exploring Dartmoor, for riverside running and good food pubs. There is enough to do locally when it rains, and perfect walks for when it’s sunny. Thanks to Jo and Sam for the local information and Winston for the entertainment.

We stayed here for my hen weekend. The house was perfect for all 14 of us. Plenty of room and great fun. I would highly recommend
