Garden Cottage with hot tub, castle & sea views

This charming cottage is completely unique having the old Redcastle ruin as a back drop and views of the Beauly Firth directly in front. There is an idyllic stream going through the garden and we have recently planted a wild flower meadow at the end of the garden. It has been beautifully refurbished in 2023 and we feel incredibly proud of the results. The cottage is located in the sleepy hamlet of Milton of Redcastle and really is an idyllic and very comfortable place to come and unwind.

A bothy bedroom in the heart of the Cairngorms

Connected to the old cruck barn this is a compact, cosy, self contained bedroom. It’s set on one side of the courtyard with separate key access so you can come and go at will. If you love the outdoors, we think you will love it here. We have spectacular views of the Cairngorms, with excellent walks from the door. Rustic, with loads of character, the room has a comfy king size bed and en suite bathroom with shower. If you need mod cons or lots of space this may not be the place for you!

Ghillies Cottage, Loch Ness

Beautiful, newly updated, typical Highland cottage, situated in the village of Milton just outside Drumnadrochit on the shores of Loch Ness. Ghillies Cottage is full of all the charm you would expect to find in a highland home. Period property, dating from 1870, boasting a wild history from the Glen. Full of charm, cosy and welcoming, Ghillies cottage sleeps up to 4 people, with room for a cot should you require the host to provide one for you. Peaceful cottage and private back garden.

Urquhart Bay Barn

Urquhart Bay Barn, situated at the Urquhart Bay Viewpoint, is a charming and spacious self-catering renovation, with two bedrooms (one can be either two single beds or a king size bed), completed to a very high standard, with stunning views across Loch Ness and Glen Urquhart from the dining area window and gardens. We are just a few minutes walk from the iconic Urquhart Castle. The Barn itself is built with stone taken from Urquhart Castle in the late 1800s.

The village is home to the Loch Ness Exhibition Centre and Urquhart Castle, located half way along the popular western edge of Loch Ness. Only 12 miles from Inverness and en route to the Isle of Skye, it is a popular, convenient stopover, with a supermarket, restaurants, cafes, and petrol station.
