What a wonderful way to visit San Miguel de Allende! We felt completely welcome and comfortable in this restored casa with an open air courtyard, beautiful flowers and a stunning terrace view. The housekeeper, Patty, was very nice and made wonderful classic Mexican food for us. The location was perfect for walking to the square, overlooks, the park and everywhere in between. Many great experiences were had and this was the perfect home base. Do not hesitate to stay here - you will not regret it! A note to future renters, if your flight arrives late you will need to arrange how to get in ahead of time with the rental company. If your flight arrives later than 9 pm it would be good to stay near the airport and travel to SMA the next day and begin your stay at Casa Lacardo then. Another tip: SMA is a mostly a cash economy unless you are eating/ shopping at a more established restaurant.

Nos gustó mucho la casa, fue agradable y bonita. Muy seguro y atentos a las solicitudes que tuvimos con el anfitrión, siempre se mantuvieron pendientes y guiándonos. La casa se adaptó para nuestro viaje en familia y quedamos encantados de esa calidez de un hogar y la comodidad. Con todo lo necesario para nuestra estadía de 5 días nos encantó, aparte la ubicación muy buena y la zona muy tranquila para descansar y movernos de un lugar a otro para conocer puntos de Guanajuato, entre ellos San Miguel de Allende quedamos fascinados con la casa y la ciudad.

Gran atención por parte del host. La ubicación de la casa es excelente y está en muy buenas condiciones.

Muy a gusto con todo nos la pasamos muy bien , la casa muy bonita y el roof garden con una vista espectacular increíble para ver el atardecer con una copa de vino , seguramente volveremos a repetir la visita

Rustic apartment close to the downtown area of San Miguel de Allende. Suitable for a short or longer stay. Walkable neighborhood. Beautiful, very well maintained garden in a secluded, quiet setting with high level of privacy. Facilities and amenities in fair state. Much enjoyed my one week stay!

We had a wonderful stay! Do not hesitate, this place is fantastic. The location is a bit out of town, we loved the walk down but did take taxis home (very inexpensive and easy to find). We loved the pool and the tranquility but mostly we loved Theresa...she truly makes you feel at home and takes wonderful care of you. Her meals are delicious and she is a kind and sweet person with a great sense of humor. We have stayed in SMA many times and this place was a favorite, we hope to return. Paula took the time to help me plan our visit via phone before our arrival which was very helpful and kind. Thank you Paula and Theresa!!

An amazing place to visit and enjoy with family or friends! Beautiful, clean, cozy, and peaceful. The thermal pools are absolutely wonderful. Juan Carlos and his team are outstanding hosts who make us feel right at home. I highly recommend it 100%! I can’t wait for the day we get to experience this again.

Magnificent hidden gem! This property is better than the photos, and allows you to live in a Spanish Colonial townhome/mansion. Truly a gorgeous oasis, and also an art collector's home, filled with beautiful things, and fully stocked for your comfort. The pool and courtyard fountain make you feel like you are in a private resort. The 4th floor roof top covered living/dining/bar/fireplace is perfect to watch the sunset with a cocktail or glass of wine with a stunning nighttime view of two church steeples. The property is so lush with potted plants and flowers that a gardener tends to it. I can't say enough good things about this property and excellent location. The best part is Rosalinda the cook, and Leticia the chambermaid. They are the sweetest and kindest souls; true caregivers. You can pick out recipes from the binders/cookbooks in the kitchen, give them money for groceries and they will cook 2 meals a day for you. We felt like royalty! Jod's dining recommendations were 5-Star!

We had a wonderful stay here. The absolute BEST location for enjoying San Miguel. It was perfect for our multigenerational family and plenty of room and privacy for everything. The team was so kind and we really enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay in this beautiful home. We came for a wedding with two families and everyone said the house was amazing. The location is perfect in the middle of town close to everything. It's comfortable, clean and spectacular! We hope to return soon!

Absolutely stunning house. We were a group of 9, and loved all the cozy corners to relax and hang out. Gorgeous views from the roof top, lots of outdoor space to bask in the wonderful November weather. The beds were extremely comfortable, and plenty of towels, sheets, pillows, etc. Daniel, the house manager, was extremely helpful in setting up transfers to and from the airport, plus a fabulous trip to a nearby winery. Bety the house keeper kept everything very clean and neat. We even had an in house dinner from a fabulous chef, Erica. The house is situated on a steep hill, but still very close to city center. Easy walk into town, short cab ride back up to the house. Or if you want a good workout, walk up! This was my first time to San Miguel de Allende, and I will definitely be back!

Really enjoyed our stay at Romulus’s Airbnb. Was perfect to explore San Miguel and then come back to something relaxing and quiet.

This was a fabulous location to stay in in SMA. My family of 13 was so comfortable; plenty of room. The place was absolutely gorgeous. Rosario and her sister Lolita took care of every need. Rosario‘s cooking was amazing we only got to have dinner one night because we had so many plans but the morning breakfasts were fabulous And always a supply of chips and salsa during the day for anyone to snack on. I 100% would recommend this place to anyone visiting San Miguel de Allende . five days was not enough! Many of my guests did walk to and from town but others chose to Uber/taxi and that was very easy. We did some wonderful hiking tours , music tours , ATV excursions and lots of fun shopping and fantastic restaurants. We were visiting for a family wedding but I would certainly go back. Thank you Nancy for offering this fabulous location and thank you to Rosario for making us feel so welcome.

Todo excelente, muy amable Carla, Ricardo y Silvano muy amables y nos sacaron de cualquier duda. La casa excelente, limpia, cómoda, todo ordenado, relativamente cerca del centro. Con toda confianza volvería a rentarla en próximas ocasiones.

Joaquín en todo momento estuvo muy atento y listo para ayudar en cualquier cosa ! La casa muy cómoda y muy bien decorada, la ubicación es un poco lejos y la carretera está en construcción pero valió la pena la estadía ya que la casa es muy cómoda y las personas que ayudan son excelente

We stayed here for a girls trip and did not disappoint. We never wanted to leave the property it was so peaceful, beautifully landscaped, different areas of the house create endless settings to enjoy. The concierge team was responsive and the daily breakfast was a pleasant experience.
