Stayed one night whilst attending a championship Dog show at Stafford Showground. Sarah was very accommodating and helpful from initial enquiries to the actual stay. Would definitely recommend

Beautiful location. Own parking area. Clean tidy rooms. Bathroom had a jacuzzi bath which was a god send after all the walks. Selection of cereal in room along with plenty of tea and coffee and a pint of milk in the fridge. Claire and Robbie were great hosts. Gave us a run down of Castleton and where to go. Friendly banter and made us feel very welcome. They were very responsive to anything we asked. Highly recommend this as a place to stay as it is accessible to so many walks including Mam Tor and Castleton has numerous pubs and restaurants to choose in such a small area so there is always somewhere to have refreshment and nourish after a walking day. We had a wonderful stay and loved our weekend. Thank you for having us. Our dog friendly room was luxurious, the bed was extremely comfortable and the en-suite was gorgeous. Our bedroom patio doors opened onto decking and out onto an enclosed garden, perfectly safe for our little dog to go outside. The shared downstairs space was lovely, very comfortable and homely. The homemade cakes were literally the best we have ever tasted and the cooked breakfast (veggie) was perfect, on both days. Our walk from the B&B took us straight to chatsworth house to Baslow and back and was perfect. The pub next door had wonderful beer (wainwright) and nice red wine (Rioja) and the food on both nights was great, with a lovely fire and dog friendly. Chris and Caroline were the perfect hosts, and made us feel welcome and comfortable. All in all the perfect birthday weekend. Thank you

What can I say I suspect not enough words to explain how Good Maggie and Andy are as hosts, the accommodation was excellent , arriving was easy and Maggie greeted us and showed us around the accommodation and how lovely it is , the breakfast was just so spot on plenty to eat and set us up for the day , we popped up for a family bbq and Maggie insisted they drop us off and us to ring to be picked up , I can see why Maggie is a super host , I would say a super super host . We will return . Loved our two day stay .

Great hosts! Wonderful breakfast, perfect and thoughtful local recommendations, very welcoming, cute village location close to all Peak District tourist spots. Would certainly stay here again and recommend to others. Multiple pubs, bakery, and village shops right on the doorstep. Safe, cute, and comfortable place to stay for our Peak District mini break.

Adrian was such a friendly and approachable host. Was extremely helpful in ensuring I had breakfast outside of the breakfast time. As a lone guest he really made me feel at ease. Really enjoyed my stay. Would definitely stay again.

We was there as my son had his graduation. The place was lovely felt home from home. Both ladies Jamiee but I forgot the other lady’s name (forgive me) was absolutely fantastic and professional. Very patient, courteous and very attentive. The home cooked breakfast was exceptional and very filling, we were spoilt for choice. The rooms were very cosy, super clean and comfortable cannot fault it. Definitely would recommend this guest house, a wonderful stay. Didn’t want to go home! Thank you so much.

We loved our short break at Hassop Station. The room was lovely, just as pictured. Bed was comfortable and we slept really well. Breakfast was tasty, with good vegetarian options too. We enjoyed walking on the Monsall Trail (which we could join just outside the station) and doing a bit of shopping in nearby Bakewell. Hassop Station Rooms are great for a short break and we'd throughly recommend them.

Really nice place and close to Alton Towers as well as really quite at night. The room is clean and tidy. well served breakfast and nice kind friendly communication. will come and stay again next time and recommend to my friend.

Ian and Fiona were very accommodating and welcoming! All communication and provided information was excellent! 😊 The Old Stables is a beautiful house, and the room with the bathroom upstairs is very clean and comfortable. The place is in a perfect location for all kinds of activities: hiking, walking, cycling, mountain biking, etc. - a great place! Highly recommended, and we hope to return! 😊

The Old Vicarage is a lovely house in a nice village. There are many hikes you can do in the area. We enjoyed traveling the Peak District. The room was very clean and breakfast was great. Tricia was very friendly and welcomed us with a big smile. We recommend staying here strongly.

Wonderful stay again, would highly recommend the place, a little gem. Always such thoughtful and lovely hosts, thank you. Also lovely jewellery for sale, our daughters were very happy with there gift.

Fantastic. Beautiful room set in a fabulous period house. Flexible check in (attending for a wedding, so Julie worked round our timings!!). Great location for walks / cycles / runs in the Peaks countryside too. Wouldn't hesitate to book again for a trip to this area.

What an absolutely fantastic place to stay. So very kind allowing us to check out a little later too. We have finally found where we are going to stay when we come up to visit family. Beautiful stay in quiet village of Denstone, Ideal for visiting Alton Towers, just 10 minutes away. Nice clean room and good simple breakfast and kitchenette was handy too. Hosts were very friendly and I felt at home.

Enjoyed our stay even though it was only one night. Very conveniently located in town and is in a lovely peaceful setting. The room was very nice and very comfortable in a nice garden setting. The parking space was good. We had a good evening meal at the Rutland arms just up the road. The fully cooked breakfast was plentiful and tasty and worth the short walk down the road. We would definitely return again. Thank you.

Le logement de Joanna est très beau et très propre. Elle pense à de nombreuses petites chose utiles en voyage: sèche-cheveux, bouteille d’eau, mouchoirs,… ce qui est très agréable. La cuisine était aussi à disposition. La maison est à 15 minutes à pied de la gare, dans un quartier résidentiel hors du centre-ville.

This place is AMAZING! we were looking for a place that will quiet and relaxed and close to the peak district and we got that and so much more. this new place is just what we needed. everything was so well planned, the room was clean and the bed so comfortable. Marta's food is incredible and they are both so.nice We can't wait for them to open the Yoga Studio they are planning on for when we can come again we really recommend staying here!!!

We stayed with Leanda & Nige for our wedding anniversary, the perfect place to escape to for peace and quiet and beautiful surroundings. They were fabulous hosts, easy to talk to and really helpful. Our room was beautifully decorated and super clean with great views. We were fortunate to have amazing weather during our two night stay so were able to make use of the garden and take in the beautiful surroundings. We especially enjoyed sitting on the settee on the decking early evening watching the wildlife with a g&t. We loved having a fuss with their gorgeous girls; their two friendly cockerpoos. We also enjoyed a filling, tasty breakfast each morning. The local pub is literally a 5minute walk down the road and serves good food. We have no hesitation in recommending Leanda and Nige's B&B and hope to have a return visit soon.
