Simply amazing, this place is stunning driving up to. Everything inside is just incredible, the woodworking and craftsmanship is top notch. Cindy was an amazing host, our trip delayed a day and had to move everything around and she completely understood and let us extend our stay so we didn’t have to find a hotel last minute. Amazing property, and just far enough outside the city it’s was so peaceful. Super quick to the airport, and not far from the city amenities.

I highly recommend. Planning on using again next year. very comfortable like home.

This cute lake house was well laid out with nice furnishings. The beds were softer than we are used to, but we were comfortable. The kitchenware was above what you could ask for. The place was clean and well-organized. They even had life jackets hanging in the closet and sunscreen available - though sadly, we were there on a rainy weekend. Welcoming bottled water was in the kitchen, which was appreciated. It was Convenient for where we needed to go. We would love to stay here again when in the area. Thank you Pam & Rick

We very much enjoyed our stay. Easy access to water. We set out to have a relaxing weekend. This home offered plenty of areas to relax. Cottonwood Cottage was very warm and inviting and we hope to make it back.

Home is spacious, plenty of room for our group of 8, clean and comfortable. Simply beautiful! Had plenty of dishes, pots and pans and appliances if you stay in and cook like we did. We never left and were so comfortable and relaxed. Thank you for sharing your home!

The first impression of the Cottage's inside was Wow! It was just what I wanted to see, floors no spots, no odors, soft couch, comfy bed and pillows. The Cottage was, upon entering, a wooden area was there for wet boots and shoes. The view outside was serene and exuded peacefulness. The warmth of the heating unit was excellent for throwing off any chill. All the lights worked, the stove was excellent and clean, coffee maker was superb. Toaster, shower, towels soft, sink was unusually low profile but just took some getting used to. Shower and sinks drained well. And the tropical island motif was breathtaking well-coordinated. One of my definite 'return-to' places.

Such a serene & peaceful cottage! Perfect for an anniversary getaway! While the cottage could sleep a larger family easily, we found the place perfectly cozy for the 2 of us. The natural fireplace added so much to the ambiance! The very clean cottage provided everything we needed for my husband & I to enjoy a lovely time away. We also noticed that the hosts went above & beyond to stock all you might need if traveling with children or your dog. Their communication was excellent! We didn’t venture far from the cottage, but that was our plan. Nice place to get in a good walk with the hilly road. The stairs to the lake were sturdy, but it is steep as they clearly state. Being able take in the lake views from the gorgeous upper deck on the comfortable outdoor couch was a highlight! (The afternoon sun was so inviting!) We wish the weather could’ve been nicer to enjoy the kayaks/paddleboat more… and also the fire pit…maybe next time. :) Thank you for a lovely stay!

This was my second time and definitely not the last time I’ve stayed here. 5 minutes from boat launch on Webster. 15 minutes from numerous lakes. Jim is very responsive and easy to talk to. The house is tucked into a very quiet area. Neighbors are friendly as well.

Wonderful place to stay at for the weekend! We had gloomy weather, so we weren’t able to enjoy getting outdoors, but it was so peaceful so we just curled up with a good book! Make sure you check out nearby Dygert Nature Preserve! There was a break in the rain and we made good use of it by stretching our legs on this short hike!
