Mandys place was just amazing. Everything you need is provided and more. Having the pool for the kids was a winner. The Steam train coming past was really good felt like the Railway Children waving all the time. Great recommendations for eating out. Thank you looking at booking again.

We booked three nights at the Pool House and it was amazing. We were greeted by Clare upon arrival and she gave us a lovely tour of the accommodation. The accommodation has a lovely kitchen and a beautiful area to relax upstairs. The bedroom is spacious with amazing views of the village. Finally the pool area was great to relax around during the day. The accommodation is roughly a 10 min drive to Sidmouth and 20 min to Beer and other beautiful beaches. We would highly recommend the Pool House and we can't wait to visit again!

Great place, clean and all amenities working. Well positioned to be quiet but near town centre. Great comms and helpful flexibility on check in/out from host.

We only stayed at the lodge for one night but it was great! We were lucky enough to have lovely weather which meant we could have dinner on the sunny balcony, with great views. It was extremely clean throughout and well equipped. We would love to come back again!

We had the most amazing stay at Hill MIll. The house stands in the most beautiful grounds and is the most peaceful and calm setting we've ever stayed in. When we first arrived we just stood outside admiring the surroundings for almost 20 minutes before we even stepped inside. We had everything we needed and more. Our grandsons ages 2, 4, 5, 12, & 13 loved it. The natural swimming pond was so refreshing for a morning dip it certainly woke us all up!! You could walk directly from the house into Branscombe and on route stop for a drink at the Masons Arms (a beautiful pub) and then continue to join the coastal path to Beer. We would love to return and bring some other friends with us as we haven't stopped talking about it since we got back. Thank you Ian for being such a responsive and helpful host. We’ve just returned from an amazing bank holiday weekend at Louise’s property, celebrating a joint 40th birthday with friends, and it couldn’t have been better. The weather was fantastic, so we spent most of our time enjoying the sunny garden and the pool, which was a huge hit with both kids and big kids! The pool was much larger than we expected and it was always the perfect temperature. We made great use of the BBQ and fire pit area, which was especially lovely at sunset. The house itself is beautiful. All the bedrooms are a great size and with stunning views, and the kitchen that had everything we needed and more. One afternoon, we walked across a couple of fields to The Blacksmith Arms pub, about 15 minutes away, and had a lush lunch. During the days, we watched birds in the garden, and at dusk, we were treated to the sight of bats swooping overhead. The kids also had a great time visiting the chickens. Thank you so much, Louise. We had a great time :-)

Stayed for around 4 nights and had an absolutely wonderful winter holidays together with my young family. The house is stunning the interior design is lovely and and the views are heavenly. Log fire with plenty of fuel was a big hit! pool and hotub a once a day at least activity for the kids especially during bank holidays. The fully stocked playroom was perfect for our young children. Really captured some great memories together with our family in this peaceful location and setting and came away wanting more!

We had a lovely stay at Jonathans place. Very quiet and peaceful but great countryside around and lots to do with family within easy drive. The facilities were great and so nice to have access to the pool. Great place for a getaway with family.

What a fabulous house for a family break! So much space that for the 11 of us to spread out in,we never felt over crowded. The house was very well equipped,we could all comfortably sit down to eat. The garden was very safe for the children to run around in and it was such a quiet area. David was very responsive to any query I had. I think we could be back next year!

We had a wonderful week in this lovely cottage right in the centre of Beer. The house was perfect for our needs, even more spacious than we expected, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The private parking, which was essential for us, really made for a stress free holiday. The communication from the hosts was spot on, with lots of useful information provided before we went. Many thanks Nikki and Chris, hopefully we'll be back!

There's little my review scores don't cover. Host was brilliantly communicative, access was easy, we settled in immediately, everything was described. The kitchen was fantastically equipped with everything we needed and more. We were even greeted with sweet treats. We've hired quite a few properties and this stands out as amazing value for money and truly beautiful. The house was a short walk down a slightly steep, but quiet, road to the beach and Burgh Island beyond. it was stunning and April was a perfect time to visit. The garden is private and extremely secure, even for small dogs. We wanted for nothing and it was a short holiday to remember. Thank you. We felt privileged to stay and hope to return.

We had a lovely stay at Sarah’s place and it was perfect for our book club weekend. The view is gorgeous and the upstairs living area and bedrooms downstairs worked well for us. Would recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful weekend away!

There was an unfortunate issue with the cleaning of the cottage prior to our arrival but Annie resolved this immediately and I am sure this was a rare event. Annie was always responsive and clearly wanted our stay to be perfect. The cottage is very comfortable and was perfect for the two of us and our dog. The green space we needed for our dog was just a few minutes walk away. Salcombe is one of our favourite places. It has great coastal walks, many places to visit, fine dining and beautiful scenery. We would definitely consider staying in the cottage again should we need a place in Salcombe in the future. Thank you Annie for making our stay so pleasurable.

We instantly felt at home here. The house has been done up lovely and it gives a calm and inviting feel to it. Everything was as described and we would definitely return.

We had a wonderful stay during the Easter Holidays. Angela was a great host and gave us a tour of her beautiful home including the games room when we arrived- giving us a great opportunity to ask any questions we had. The games room with pool table, table tennis and air hockey was a favourite with all 3 generations and turned our rainy afternoon the best fun. The house was very spacious and quiet upstairs which was brilliant for our adult autistic daughter who likes quiet spaces. The walk to the park with sea views was less than 5 minutes and we walked to Rockfish restaurant which was about 10 minutes away so great for our 80 year old parents. The large garden is lovely just to sit in and enjoy. We’d definitely love to return. Thanks Angela!

Bens place was high on the hill with stunning views of the ocean and Shaldon . The place was spacious and had everything you needed. Great value for money for 8 people !

nice place to go with family… really really nice nd clean house…. danny is a great man called him he talk really nicely nd polite nd asked him local beaches he told me everything wat i needed… thnx mate hopefully will b back there again

We spend a week at Ringmore, but could have easily stayed several weeks due to the lovely atmosphere of the cottage, the village and the attractive surrounding. House and garden are beautiful. You can feel at home instantly. The house is bright and friendly and well equipped. The beautiful surrounding invites to stray around, walk to the beach, enjoy the landscape, walk the coastal path starting from the house at Ayrmer Cove, a small beach with amazing rocks. And have dinner at the Journeys End Inn with a very nice variety of food and of course ales. There are many more things to explore: lovely villages, churches, cathedrals, ports, gardens, museums, estuarys, Dartmoor, great coast ... The host Anna was very nice and gave us lots of information. Thanks a lot for staying at this special place and experiencing a wonderful atmosphere!

Fantastic !!! Booked this home as part of my wifes 70th birthday celebrations for 6 adults and 3 grandchildren aged 3,6 & 9. Tracy met us on arrival to show us around this wonderful house and pass on everything we needed to know. The house in real life is better than the photos. It is so spacious and as my granddaughter said Tracy has thought of everything there is so much for us to do. Tracy also left us a lovely home made cake. The kitchen was a great communal place with a 10 seater table overlooking the amazing outdoor space via two sets of patio doors. A great way to start the day. All rooms were a good size. Outdoors there is a beautiful large garden with a trampoline for the kids, a gas bbq for the adults a barn with a table tennis table and a host of toys and ride on vehicles for the little ones. Go through the gap at the end of the garden to the very popular tree house Nobody wanted to leave after a fantastic couple of days. This is a great house.

Our family had a fantastic time staying at David and Susan’s lovely home in Holcombe. The spacious living area and incredible garden were perfect for us. We loved the house's location and even discovered a hidden gem - a secluded beach! We would definitely stay here again.

We all had a fantastic holiday, it was our first time as a blended family and we all had lots of space to both interact together quiet/private time too. The facilities were fantastic for both adults and kids. Overall a great place for a family / large group and a great base for the surrounding area / south coast

We had such a wonderful week in Berry Pomeroy. The accommodation was a wing of a manor house, and had a completely private and secluded feel with an enormous garden. The kids were entertained the whole week with a trampoline, row boat, chess set, table tennis, games room and a lovely garden to explore. We just loved the main Kitchen/Dining/Living room which is an elegant and very comfortable space to socialise, and even with 9 of us it felt so spacious! This accommodation feels like a home from home. Antonia and Rob were so helpful and responsive and they were ideal hosts. There are plenty of different areas to relax and enjoy the surroundings outside. The property is a little tricky to find but as long as you follow the instructions carefully its fine. We absolutely loved our stay and would love to return again.
