What a treat it was to stay at Barbara's place! The location was so central to everything in Santa Monica and street parking was easy. The apartment was exactly as described, clean, and so cozy. Barbara also provided us with a lot of snacks/fruit and was extremely responsive whenever I had a question. MauMau (the cat - our other host ;) ) is a super social and friendly cat - probably one of the most chillest/cutest cats I've hung out with so that was a special bonus! Finally, I was not feeling very well the day of check out and Barbara so graciously let me rest in the room even though it was a couple of hours after check out. I would definitely recommend her place to others!

Beautiful weekend thanks to Kris and bob ! As soon as we pulled in Kris met with me and my family . She was so nice and she went out of her way to give my son a brand new learning bear :) I would definitely recommend this place ! I definitely want to book again ! The unit was extremely clean and well-maintained, though the living room furniture and rug are different than what appears in the listing photos. Ultimately not a big deal, though. The building itself is traditional/classic Hollywood architecture on a residential street. It was easy to find and easy to access with the codes provided by the host. The unit was in a good location - a $10-$12 Uber to Hollywood & Highland, the West Hollywood bars, Beverly Hills, Sunset Strip, The Grove, etc., or if you're up to it, you can just walk to all those places. Overall, I had a great stay, but I did experience significant around-the-clock noise (heavy walking/stomping) from the residents of the unit above this one that would make me second guess a repeat stay. However, neighbor noise will always be a possibilty if you're in an apartment building.

We had a great stay at this property! It's fully remodeled, very clean and comfortable. Everything was provided, including nice bath towels (mini shampoo/conditioner/lotion, too), soft comfortable linen, fully stocked kitchen, etc. The property is steps away from Marine Avenue, the main street on Balboa Island, with great shops and restaurants. That being said, you are in a more vibrant and happening part of the island, which comes with a little more noise and traffic. We enjoyed being close to everything, walking around, etc. The host is responsive and super easy to work with.

Casa molto pulita e carina, ben fornita sia per quanto riguarda la cucina che il bagno e le camere. Nel nostro caso ci ha anche dato la possibilità di lasciare le cose in casa prima dell'orario previsto, il che è stato molto utile e conveniente. Marcis è stato inoltre molto reattivo nel rispondere, per ogni necessità mi ha risposto nel giro di 15 minuti, il che ci ha risolto alcuni problemi. Had a great stay in Manhattan beach! The location was very convenient and just a few minutes walking to the beach and several great restaurants. Kristi was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Staying at Carlos’s place was perfect for us. The place was spotless and the neighborhood pristine. Shops and restaurants were in walking distance with a nice variety to choose from. If we had questions, Carlos was easy to get in touch with. I’d definitely stay here again.

Maria's place was absolutely delightful! The location is unbeatable, right near everything you could need. From the moment we arrived, both she and her husband made us feel right at home. Having a grocery store just across the street was incredibly convenient, and we loved discovering the nearby taco stand—such a treat! Gusto's bakery was an incredible find, just a short walk away, and we took full advantage of the easy stroll to the beach for free yoga sessions on the bluff. Maria's thoughtful touch of providing yoga mats was such a bonus! We truly appreciated that so many stores and restaurants were within walking distance, which made our stay even more enjoyable since we didn't need a car to explore the area. The unit itself was spotless and secure, plus it was stocked with a variety of extra amenities like coffee, tea, cooking essentials, and personal care items. Overall, I can't recommend Maria's place enough. I hope to return!

A gem! I stayed here for a little "me getaway" for my birthday. There are just 4 houses between this airbnb and the beach, it took me 52 seconds to walk from the gate to the sand. Well appointed kitchen, everything was clean and smelled great. Windows in very room w/particularly great natural light in the bedroom... lovely to feel the warm sun in the comfy bed in the mornings. Good window shades to block out light if you prefer. The bathroom is super cute w/little hotel style toiletry bottles provided. There's good temperature control with a heater, A/C and easy to open windows for a cool ocean breeze. Great beaches, parks, restaurants, coffee shops in the area; I found it to be very quiet and serene - you're ensconced behind a gate and walking path so it feels very private and safe. Free street parking. I was not missing a single thing and host was communicative, gave clear and helpful instructions, and had some thoughtful personal touches in the airbnb. Would return in a heartbeat!

Jeffery is a great host and the apartment was charming and very comfortable. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Brian was a great host and the place was exactly as described! He let us check in early and even swung by as we were getting there to see if we needed anything. Would stay again!

This downtown Hollywood apartment was the perfect stay! The space was incredibly clean, well-maintained. The complex itself was great with amazing extras like pool and gym. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure I had everything I needed. The location was great, with easy access to restaurants and parking included. Highly recommend!

Second time I've stayed at this unit. The close proximity to the UCLA campus with private (underground) parking is fantastic. The unit is clean, quiet and well furnished and equipped. Always like to stay here when I'm visiting my son at UCLA.

Great place to stay! Convenient location! Walking distance to Costco, Grocery stores, restaurants! Host was great! Very accommodating! We will consider this place for our next visits!
