Great place to stay! Looked just like the photos, but better. The host was super nice and communicative. So many great hikes nearby. Would definitely stay again :)

Don't hesitate to book this amazing space! Clean, comfortable, quiet, and well stocked, this historic property is perfect for a relaxing stay. We really enjoyed not being able to find each other in the huge space : ) We love that the apartment has been updated but the beautiful, ornate finishings of the previous centuries remain. We hope to return in warmer weather so we can enjoy the covered porch and backyard area. Esther is a welcoming and attentive host and we would book any of her properties. Our only disappointment was that our stay wasn't longer.

Jonathan’s stay was amazing! Super peaceful sweet spot! Place was exactly like pictured! Cleanliness was an A+ for me! Cozy atmosphere. Fire pit area was nice as well! Host was super accommodating which was great, Super responsive!

This place was the perfect stay in Scranton. Only 1 mile from where I was working downtown, but in a quiet neighborhood that made it easy to unwind at the end of my days. It was very clean (a must) with all the amenities one would need, and check-in/out instructions were prompt and clear.

I was looking for some quiet after a stressful few months and something of a view. I love the water so I picked this place and it want a far drive from me. I felt at home and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you could think of which was great because I really wanted to bake for myself and just do a great self care weekend which I did. Me and my pup got to have some alone time and hang by the water across the street at the gated off little beach. Hung out in the hammock and sat on the boat launch. Exactly what I needed. Definitely coming back !

We had a great stay! The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Jennifer left toiletries in the bathroom that came very useful. There was even an adorable arrangement of flowers left on the mantle being that it was my birthday weekend. She was very responsive!

Great place to stay. It was very clean and the bed was so comfortable I felt like I slept on a cloud. The rooms feel huge for such a small space and the bedrooms are far apart so it’s private if you’re sharing with friends.

Anisha’s place was beautiful. Perfect Mommy and me weekend for me and my friend with our daughters. The house was pristine, very clean, tastefully decorated and had instructions on how to use everything. The fireplace was great since it was controlled with a remote - perfect for us city folks with no clue! Anisha was very responsive and extremely accommodating when we thought a storm might ruin our travel plans. She allowed us to check in early. She was a great host overall. Our stay was great. We would be happy to return for our next trip to the Poconos.

We stayed at Grandma’s Cottage for my wife’s birthday, and the experience couldn’t have been better. Originally, we had booked another place, but due to some last-minute issues, we were re-booked here—and honestly, it felt like fate. From the moment we arrived, we fell in love with the cozy, vintage vibe of the house. It’s like stepping into a charming time capsule, with antiques everywhere—record players, an old stove, typewriter, beautiful paintings, unique clocks, and mini art sculptures. Each piece adds so much character! Sheldon (our host) was amazing. Despite the short notice, he kindly accommodated our booking and even stopped by personally to ensure everything was perfect for us. That extra effort meant so much. We’ll definitely be coming back here!

Narrowsburg is such a quaint, cute, and friendly town—perfect for a relaxing getaway! Plamena was a fantastic host, always quick to respond and incredibly helpful with anything we needed. The home itself is cozy and well-appointed, especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed for cooking. The fireplace was such a treat—be sure to grab firewood from Pete’s! The location is ideal; we loved being able to walk to Main Street and explore the charming shops and restaurants. The beds were very comfortable, and the linens were top quality, making for a restful night’s sleep. A special highlight was watching the deer wander through the backyard—it was such a peaceful and beautiful sight. Highly recommend this stay! Would absolutely return.

PURE BLISS! The cottage is old, charming, and sits in a beautiful location with amazing views and access to the Delaware. So many varieties of birds to watch. The indoors is very clean, beds comfy, kitchen adequately supplied to cook any meal (but go to TOWN!) Beautiful place to have campfire and relax. The outdoor space is beautifully laid out. The neighborhood is absolutely lovely to walk and the downtown is worth exploring. Hosts were very quick to respond to my texts. The fresh eggs left in the refrigerator were a plus. I can only imagine how awesome this place will be in the summer! Thank you so much! See you again, for a longer stay.

She was a wonderful host, she had everything ready for us. Including for my kids, it was a surprise for them to have an area for games and she had basket balls. Which was cool because my son just loves to be around balls. What stood out to us, adults, was the cleanness of the sheets and everything, especially the floor, it had a good, pleasant smell. The only down fall was we couldn't figure out how to use the tv and it was too far to the NY city. The people around said we can use the ferry of NJ, but for people like us, that come from California, don't know how that works. On the other hand, the purpose of this place is to be away from the city and relax, and it did. So very beautiful place, recommend it highly for people that love the woods and need to relax. Theres a lot of deer and you get to see snow during springtime.

It is a great house for a large gathering. Plenty of room to spread out if needed, indoors and outdoors. The beds were wonderful, thick white towels, and the house was a cozy warm temperature. The kitchen had every accessory that we needed and great dinnerware, glassware and silverware.. We took a Wintery walk to the end of the road and then went down by the lake. It’s just beautiful! Everyone who stayed with us was very happy.

Volha 's place was super quiet and peaceful. The house was very organized and cleaned. Like new bathrooms and bedroom was amazing. The house has everything you can ask for. BBQ grill. BBQ utensils. fire pit. patio furniture and umbrella. washer dryer and tons of shower condiments. Clean fire place with large screen TV. All kitchen accommodations are included. The host have given us clear directions and instructions about the house. We really enjoyed being here and we would love to come back again. it's a great choice if you are in the Pocono area/Great wolf lodg/ Kalihari area ...

This home was so beautiful clean and peaceful. Being able to see and hear the water creek is also such an amazing addition to the home. Everything was perfect Simran was a great and very responsive host. I would definitely book if I’m traveling upstate again.

Paul was a great host! Me and my girlfriend were staying here doing a little road trip for her birthday from Connecticut! The space was so clean and comfortable for the both of us! We both loved it and would definitely recommend staying here if you’re ever in the Scranton area! I would definitely come back!!

Had a wonderful repeat stay. The living room is especially lovely on a sunny day with tremendous natural light flooding in. We enjoyed sitting and reading and playing board games there after a morning on the mountains. We really felt at home and will be sure to stay again if we return to the area!

Beautiful apartment. Has many kitchen necessities and cooking spices, didn’t have to go out for anything other than the food we were cooking. Has nice communal shared space with the other buildings, including a nice and large communal hot tub and pool. Would definitely come back again!
