To begin with, Ebony was an amazing host right from the beginning! I had mom immediate family and children stay at her place during my wedding and she was very accommodating. My family really enjoyed the place and I definitely recommend her place to anyone who needs a place to stay :) Thank you so much!

We are a family of 4 with 2 kids 3 and under and a dog. We had a great stay! The place is as described and more. Very well stocked with all the essentials for kitchen and otherwise. Lots of space. Clean. Heating and cooling. Thoughtfully decorated. Lots of yard space. Beautiful view of the local mountains. Scott gave us a tour of their farm and our little guy fed the ducks - fun! Right next to Little Qualicum Cheeseworks - fresh dairy awaits. Location is good - farm setting but close to town. Overall great value and would stay again!

Ours was a quick overnight stay, but it was great to arrive to a place that matched photos and description, and that presented a worry-free time. Modern, clean, comfy bed, great bathroom - all excellent! Will be back when next in the area.

Fabulous location for work at the hospital and playing at the park across the street! Springtime is beautiful at this house with flowering trees and a covered porch to enjoy the outdoors. We highly recommend Teresa’s home!

Kelly’s place is outstanding. We have stayed at his place a few times now and it’s a favourite in the area. The view is amazing, truly feels like you have the ocean and beach to yourself. Will keep coming back!

We had a lovely stay at Kate and Fohla’s property. The home was beautiful, spacious and very well equipped with everything needed. The property was quiet with waterfront access and beautifully maintained. It was an easy 10 minute drive to Qualicum Beach. Kate and Fohla were very responsive to any questions or needs. We would certainly stay here again!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful 3-bedroom house! The property was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The spacious living area was perfect for our group to relax, and the balcony provided a lovely view for morning coffee while you witness the spectacular morning sunrise. The balcony also offers a great space to enjoy an outdoor breakfast/lunch or dinner with a functional barbecue grill and a gas fire pit with slat top which is good at night while chilling and stargazing. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the utensils and supplies we needed, making it easy to prepare meals and fully loaded with functional appliances. The pool was a great addition, offering a refreshing break from the summer heat. We stayed for 2 nights and appreciated the ample parking space. It is a 2minute drive away from the beach. Kaia was incredibly responsive and attentive, ensuring our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We highly recommend this house looking for a relaxing summer break.

We absolutely loved it here, big house perfect for family gatherings with kids. The garden is beautiful, you can tell how much love and effort this family has put into creating this amazing space. Outdoor amenities were the best part of it, plenty of things to do and games to play for the little ones who enjoyed seeing the bunnies and deers grazing in the yard. Anna and her family were super friendly and kind, helpful and responsive, and to me that makes a huge difference. The kind of people you want to rent from. I would recommend this place to anybody, specially families, it wont disappoint.

Kate was very responsible about staying in touch with us and quickly resolving any small issues that came up - such as the replacement of lightbulbs that needed a ladder to reach! Marc was their handy man and he was kind and helpful as well!The house was perfect for two couples - including heated floors in both bathrooms! Both beds were very comfortable!There is a seperate room with workspace and a pull out couch. The kitchen was well stocked with dishware, kitchen tools and everything one would need. The back patio has a barbeque and nice seating around a table wilth a gas warming fire in the center. The home is in a sweet private gated community. Rt. 19-A runs along the backside of the property- seperated by a tall wooden fence and a few trees. The patio could be noisy at times. The rocky beach on the property is lovely - it was too far for my husband to access easily. The spot would be perfect for families and walkers. I enjoyed walking there! Thanks so much Kate!

We had a lovely stay here over Christmas! The suite has everything you need and the bed was really comfortable! Not a complaint, but be aware you might hear the kids playing as it's not entirely soundproof. It made no difference to us but might be good for others wanting to sleep at odd hours or work from the suite.

This is a very charming rustic cabin located in the forest. Quiet, peaceful and very private. Very unique experience

Gales airbnb was absolutely lovely and a perfect place to stay during our time in Powell River! Great location that is a short drive from hiking trails, restaurants, and breweries, and a comfortable and clean living space. Check in was very easy, and she had even left out fresh fruit and croissants for us! Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to others :)

This was our second stay and we already can’t wait to be back again. It was the perfect space for a group vacation - we liked having the large common area to hang out in. Our host was very attentive and we appreciated all the amenities in the kitchen and bedrooms. A beautiful and peaceful place to stay and near lots of wonderful hikes and restaurants.

It was perfect. The description was bang on. The cabin was full of character and rustic charm. You could feel the good energy in this place surrounded by peace and quiet. Nosy sea lion swam by several times a day.

We loved our time at the cottage it was clean secluded and surrounded by forest . Everything is easy to find they have a great little disc golf course at the community centre just up the road . Close to everything. If we ever come back to Quadra Island we would come and stay at Big tree cottage again.

The hosts were kind and communicative (despite my anxious dog not making a great first impression!). The hosts provided a fenced in 'back yard' area at the entrance to the suite, which made for many sunny hours lounging in the sun after a walk to the river at the back of the property. The interior of the suite is quite basic and not the most private (I believe their office is on the other side of the door in the living room area and not sound-proofed), and you must be sure to keep your food secured as there are a lot of ants in the suite/kitchen - but what the suite itself lacks is made up for by the sprawling green expanse of the farm and surrounding wildlife. The alpacas were curious and friendly, and my dog enjoyed watching the neighbour's geese down the road. Overall I think my dog enjoyed the property even more than the beaches we visited while in town. Thanks again for the stay! I would visit again just to sit at the river and bask in the forest.

We had a wonderful overnighter at the cabin before our very early flight. This residence is a quick 5mins from the Comox airport. The cabin has many wonderful touches : board games, a speaker, tea, coffee, oil, refreshments and anything you’d need. The outdoor setup with the propane fire and the hammock is so relaxing. Dawn is very quick to reply and a great host. Do not hesitate to book this!

The Tiki Tiny House was a hidden gem on Savary. Quiet and peaceful and a lovely “off-grid” experience. Thorsten was very detailed with instructions on how to use everything that were easy to follow. He was quick to respond to any questions I had. Would definitely recommend the Tiki Tiny House to anyone looking for a getaway on beautiful Savary Island!
