Our stay was wonderful. The surroundings were beautiful and the view from the main deck of the house was breathtaking. The pool outside was the best, we were in it every evening on our stay. Wow! This place was unbelievable and even better than we expected. I loved it so much! You can see the ocean from the balcony and it's such a beautiful view. We went golfing at Bahia and it was pretty close. This was an amazing experience. Jose was super nice and Miguel picked us up from the airport at midnight and he took us to Old San Juan. His driving skills were very impressive. We drove a scooter while we were there and it was fun but I do recommend a car. This was the perfect place to stay and it was so relaxing. Plus, there is a mini jungle on the property. You can walk around the yard and pick fruits if you want. This place also has constant hot water in the shower. We really enjoyed everything about it! Wilmel's place is incredible; the view from the top of the mountain is breathtaking. The house was exactly as described and had everything we needed; kitchen, laundry, pool, patio, tons of rooms/bathrooms, and TV. Wilmel gave us plenty of recommendations for local restaurants and places to visit. Our first time driving up the mountain to the house was challenging because of the narrow roads, hairpin turns, and steep elevation but we eventually got used to it.

The place was great and host was super responsive with good recommendations! Kids loved the pool, pool table and local lizards. Frogs at night were delightful. Had a little bit of a hard time finding the place, even with the instructions, but were able to navigate our way there. Would stay again!

If you’re looking for a place off the beaten path, away from the touristy-hotels, but still safe and only 45-55 min from San Juan and Farjdo, then I highly recommend staying at Casita Flamboyan. Jose and his wife were wonderful, very kind and accommodating. Unfortunately the island experienced an entire black out, and they immediately texted us to make sure we were safe and their house was adapted to still provide power! I will certainly be back to visit!

Wonderful villa in the hills of Canovanas. The place was comfortable for 12 people. Beautiful views and seclusion.

My family loved staying in this home! Carrie and Checho were very welcoming and generous hosts and even ran a generator during an island-wide power outage so our family could make dinner and sleep comfortably under the ceiling fans. (The A/C units worked great before and after the power outage). Our kids enjoyed exploring the property, looking for coquis and lizards, and loved being surrounded by the sights and sounds of the rainforest. This home was a great base for exploring all of the surrounding gems of this incredible island.

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying here. The view from the pool is phenomenal! Betzaida is a great host and was incredibly responsive to our needs when things came up. Thanks! We would happily stay again next time we are in Puerto Rico!
