Lovely place to stay for a trip to the Peak District. Great host, I love that he had a booklet of recommend trails and restaurants etc.

Wonderful place, whether you want to relax or explore & go hiking/walking, great base as there's loads of walks/hikes to take direct from the farm, with good boozers/food en route. Everything you need is provided, very peaceful location yet minutes from the town centre, all amenities within walking distance. Definitely recommend a stay & we'll be booking again for sure.

Absolutely loved this place! The house was amazing - beautifully decorated, perfectly equipped, and the setting was breath-taking. Our host was super responsive and helpful, made the whole stay stress-free. Only 'complaint' is that we didn't want to leave! Would highly recommend and can't wait to come back.

This was our 3rd time at the Shepherds Lodge and once again it was a 5 star stay. Beautiful lodge with amazing views. Lovely place to sit in the evening with a drink and plenty of great walks nearby. Thank you 😊

My family had a very lovely stay at the apartment. Melissa was very responsive and accommodating to our requests. The apartment was the perfect size for my family of 5, cozy and beautifully furnished. The apartment is located in a nice part of Altrincham. The fact that it is a gated compound was a huge plus for us in terms of safety considerations. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip back to visit our family! Thank you Melissa for being such a wonderful host.

Great location, nice and quiet area but very close to the centre of Manchester to get to all the attractions.

Overall had a lovely stay, had only one extremely minor issues with the dishwasher, but was honestly no problem at all (Hence the 5 stars!). Nice and private, rarely if ever bothered by passers by or ramblers. Nice amenities in the lodge, and hot tub was lovely. Parking was a little tight, but nice to have our own space while visiting. Honestly had a fab stay!
