A perfect base to explore Connemara or pre/post Aran Islands trip. We have converted the mobile home with love. It is a quirky place to stay but luxurious. Features a private landscaped courtyard with BBQ and family seating. Internally this is a modern, cosy space with stove and fully equipped kitchen.

The cabin is far away from busy roads and street lights and is a haven of birdsong, starry nights and spectacular sunsets with "one of the best views we have ever woken up to". Fully equipped with kitchen, bathroom and lofted bedroom; and is suitable for all seasons.

A building with a difference - originally a truck body it is now a comfortable and peaceful self contained apartment. Open plan, it has a separate shower room with toilet. Cooking facilities include gas hob with grill and air fryer. Guests have a private deck and barbecue. There is WIFI in the cabin. Tea/coffee is provided, and a welcome breakfast pack is included. Electricity is solar generated, when possible, and an EV charger is available at an additional cost.

Maam 4 km for nearest shop and pub. Oughterard 24 km and Maam Cross 8 km for restaurants.

Sleeps two comfortably, surrounded by stunning views of mountains and lakes in the heart of Connemara, ideal location for hill walking, and fishing. Heating and electricity is included, and an inital complementary bag of firewood is supplied for the stove.

A quiet, rural getaway

A Covid project! A cosy converted shed situated just behind our house in a very peaceful and rural part of east County Galway. We've created a bright new modern space but have maintained an old-fashioned feel with traditionally rendered walls. It has a wonderful bespoke sliding stair up to the mezzanine sleeping area.
