Its direct access to the shallow waters of the sea makes it ideal for summer holidays, especially for families with small children. In a five minute walking distance you can find the old Venetian saltpans which are nowadays the most important wetland in Corfu (Natura 2000). Rich in aquatic plants and bird fauna it is an ideal place for walks and birdwatching

The property is situated at an elevated position with temperatures 3 - 4 degrees lower than lowland, less humidity, and usually a breeze. Located in the middle of the island, a perfect base from which to explore all of Corfu. It has also autonomous central heating for the winter. In case that “pets allowed”, this can be done after discussion for (a) only one dog, and (b) no cats allowed.

À 10 minutes de marche vous pouvez vous rendre aux salines d'Alykes, où se trouve un parc "Natura" avec des flamants roses à la bonne saison, normalement en primtemps et en automne. Derrière la maison il y a un parking privé. Nous recommandons de louer une voiture pour visiter les endroits, les billages et les plages, faire les courses etc.
