Surrounded by fields & 500 metres from the centre of the historic market town of Ulverston. It is situated 10 minutes from the start of the Cumbria Way walk.

Yan pod is an ideal woodland base for lovers of the great outdoors We are situated 4 miles south of Kendal, on the border of the Lake District National Park, and on the Bay Cycleway. Sizergh Castle, Levens Hall and other amenities are close by. There are many local walks from the wood and easy access by car to the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales.

Converted Barn, Patterdale in the Lake District

Welcome to Crook a Beck Barn, Patterdale a former Cart Barn which we lovingly restored during 2017. The Barn is located on the original coach road in the hamlet of Crook a Beck, next to the village of Patterdale, in the heart of the Lake District, in one of the most beautiful Lake District valleys. During peak season - April to the end of October, 7 nights minimum stay with a Friday changeover. Short breaks may be available so please drop us a message to ask!
