Blackhorse Cabin

Quant little cabin nestled high enough in the mountain to view Mt Alice from the front porch and still close enough to the town of Seward. There is a queen bed and a futon. The love seat reclines also. There is a fire pit you are free to use and some bikes hang from the deck of the main house feel free to use those. The house is located up the mountain but the road can be heard from the cabin. The queen bed and twin futon are located in the same room. One guest complained the area was to small.

Nestled on 16.7 acres of Alaskan land with access to a private lake. The perfect place to relax after a long day of adventure. (Property is shared with a main house, another cabin, and yurt) but there is plenty of space for privacy. Please please be certain of your booking dates. If you have a vehicle, you'll have a parking spot reserved just for you. We are ready to host you today! We've instituted additional cleaning procedures to ensure a clean and welcoming apartment for your visit. We've cleaned hard surfaces with anti-bacterial sprays. Soft surfaces, furniture & throw pillows are treated with anti-bacterial fabric sprays.

Forest Yurt

Forest Yurt has all of the spirit of an off-grid forest yurt, in a quiet Anchorage neighborhood, 5 mins from airport. This 16' partial off-grid unit is wood stove heated (cut wood included), or guests can use a space heater. Comfortable full bed. Basic kitchenette amenities available: microwave, hot plate, tools, pans. No plumbing; sink and toilet are an eco- friendly Boxio system. Next to a forested park with trails. Enjoy the hot tub, collect fresh chicken eggs, and breathe forest air!

This Two Bedroom plus Loft (please read additional information for loft) is situated 1 block from the world famous Tony Knowles Coastal Trail that hugs the coastline of the Cook Inlet with beautiful views of the water, Anchorage skyline with moose and other Alaska animals that live in the area. We are located on a forested acre. Our yurts are modern with most amenities included. We are located 8 minutes driving time north of Seward, and within walking distance, 8-10 minute walk to the lake or the Bear Lake trailhead, or the Salmon Weir, this is where the salmon come up the creek to spawn in Bear Lake. The Salmon are visible from May thru July.
