Beautiful setting and wonderful accommodation for relaxing getaway . House was stocked with food and drink to start our stay. Bedrooms felt like 5 star hotel. We enjoyed the tennis courts, hot tub and nature trail walk.

Grace's house was a real treat! Nestled away in the trees overlooking the river made it feel so private and peaceful. The house itself was so cosy, clean and inviting but had plenty of space and different areas to relax. The grounds were amazing and the kids had a ball discovering the swings, hottub and reading shed. The whole place was magical and we were sad to leave. Grace was very responsive to any communication and made us feel so welcome. The house location was a great base for some of the stunning sights Donegal has to offer and we were very close to many beautiful sandy beaches. This house was the best airbnb we have ever stayed in! We can't wait to come back, thanks so much Grace

I booked this trip for our anniversary,all we wanted was peace and some down time. We got exactly what we were looking for, we had everything we needed at hand. Fabian was very responsive and nothing was a bother. The cottage was immaculate and cosy....just perfect.

Wow what an amazing place! Beautiful peaceful surroundings , can be enjoyed while chilling in the hot tub and using the sauna defiantly a highlight of the stay for me. The inside was so clean and very quirky , amazing entertainment loads of books, games, tv and the record player was very cool. Could not recommend this place enough and Ricky the host had perfect instructions how to work everything so no stress, was so helpful and responsive also. Went exploring the nearby town Carrick on Shannon loads to do there . Overall my favorite get-a way and will definitely be back again.

me and the kids had an absolutely brilliant stay. lots of room, in and outside. safe and private. everything you need plus more provided. wanted for nothing. shop just 5 min drive away. the place was super cozy when we got there, felt like home from the minute we arrived. super clean and tidy hot tub was amazing, hot and ready to hop in on arrival. bbq set up for ready to go. i honestly can't say a single negative thing about this place, it was perfect. will deffiently be going back. the host was very nice and helpful. if any queries always quick to reply.

Alles war wie erwartet. Leider konnten wir die Natur nur bedingt genießen, weil es dauerregnete. Trotzdem war es recht gemütlich und warm im Haus, welches wirklich dort liegt, wo sich Fuchs und Hase Gute Nacht sagen.

We’re just home from another fabulous stay at Cosy Cottage, wish we could have stayed for a couple more days! Everything was perfect, except Tuesday’s weather but that’s Donegal! Audrey was very welcoming, the cottage was clean and comfortable, and the setting was beautiful! being dog friendly was a big plus for us and these garden and the garden was lovely

Just back from a relaxing break and highly recommend this beautiful place. Noreen and Rory were lovely, down to earth people and i even got to cuddle Rory,s brother,s pet lamb! Our dogs had a blast too with a huge front garden and nearby forest walks and beaches. Will be back for sure. Thanks Noreen, Rory and Bruno their lovely sheepdog!

Folan’s Cottage ist wirklich ein Juwel. Die atemberaubende Aussicht auf das Meer den ganzen Tag ist einfach nur gigantisch. Unsere Kinder haben, trotz der kühlen Temperaturen, die Füße ins Wasser gehalten – mit leuchtenden Augen und viel Gekreische. Besonders süß fanden wir die kleinen Strandläufer-Vögel, die geschäftig am Ufer entlanghuschten. Das Haus verbindet traditionellen Charme mit modernem Komfort. Die großzügige Küche mit der Kochinsel wurde schnell zum Dreh- und Angelpunkt, wo wir gemeinsam gekocht und gelacht haben. Abends haben wir uns gemütlich am Kamin zusammengesetzt und Karten gespielt. Die Abgeschiedenheit des Ortes war genau das, was wir gesucht haben, um mal richtig abzuschalten. Ein echtes Highlight war die Begegnung mit den Connemara-Ponys, die entspannt vor dem Haus grasten – dieser Anblick bleibt uns sicher lange in Erinnerung. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und hoffen, bald wiederzukommen. Ein großes Dankeschön an die Gastgeber für diese unvergessliche Zeit!

This getaway is exactly what we wanted. The cottage was extremely cozy, and was quite charming. With tons of nature around us, no screens, and good company, the stay was incredibly relaxing. We had a great time thumbing through the materials and fun history of the cottage. William was extremely accommodating and was very responsive. We will absolutely be back!

Cosy cottage, warm welcome from the host, stunning location with beautiful scenery with lots to do.

The most beautiful and quaint hidden gem in the beautiful Leitrim countryside. The cottage was very clean with super fast wi-fi and comfortable beds. The host Conor was more than accommodating providing all we needed for the weekend. An ideal location for exploring the Cuilcagh Mountains, venturing to Enniskillen or discovering the countless caves, waterfalls and walks on the cottage’s doorstep.

What a beautiful place to call home for a few days. A real country Ireland experience. Very much like my Nan’s home as I remember it. We loved it. Loved the set-up. Loved the turf fire!!! Will come again.

Really cozy cottage and we really enjoyed the piece and quiet, the scones were lovely. Dunclan was also prompt to suggest us some really nice things to visit in the area and luna (cat) kept us company during our garden breakfast :D Highly suggest, would come back again

Niall and Inez were wonderful hosts. The farm was beautiful and very peaceful. We stayed for 10 days and got to enjoy all the beautiful aspects of the farm; walking trails, petting the horses and enjoying the peacefulness. The cottage was perfect! Very comfortable and felt like home. We enjoyed making a fire in the evenings and cooking breakfast in the mornings. We even made blackberry jam with blackberries from the farm and Inez’s recipe. The cottage we stayed in slept four; we had one couple and one single person and it was plenty of room. We felt very safe while staying on the farm. We utilized the laundry and that was very convenient. We rented a car to get around and enjoyed many local restaurants, coffee shops and castles. Niall was very responsive when we had questions or needed anything. When we arrived he gave us a quick tour of the farm grounds and cottage pointing out where things were. The farm is a must stay if looking for a peaceful place to stay.

Traditional Irish cottage and a great base to explore the surrounding area. Made to feel very welcome eg fire lit befire I arrived. Friendly owners who loved to chat. Beautiful views over the bay. Cant ask for more.

We would highly recommend Carol's Mizzel Cottage. It is a beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean and comfortable property. The homemade brown bread and breakfast essentials were a very welcome touch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A lovely place! Met all expectations and more, very close proximity to the lake and lots of nice things to do in the area. Great place to go and unwind.
