While the location is about a 20-30 min walk to either beach, it is very easy to get to the closest bus stop. Be sure to download the Lantau Bus app for bus arrival times. There are some great hikes right from the flat that are amazing and not to be missed by outdoor enthusiasts. Be sure to get details from the hosts’ convenient orientation binder. The flat itself is great. Very clean with cozy furnishings and well supplied with everything you need for a home. Mobile service is almost non-existent in the village, but the WiFi covers most of the voids created by this. The WiFi has great coverage and speed making remote work very achievable. The hosts are very responsive, friendly and helpful. They make themselves available if needed and were a pleasure to stay with. If you are looking for an alternative to the dense urban environment of HK island, this is a great option for up to 4 or 5 people!

My husband and I spent 5 nights in Scott’s apartment. The bed is comfortable and there are everything you need in the kitchen. We enjoy our breakfast at the roof top terrace with mountain & sea view and surrounding by birds. Tong fuk beach is just steps away; transportations by buses is very convenient, and we will not forget our dinner at THE GALLERY, it is absolute delicious !

Cat provided very thorough check in details and communicated well. The place was perfect for a short stay.

We wanted a getaway from the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong without leaving Hong Kong and Tanis's place did just that! The space was clean, beautiful,peaceful and relaxing. We were able to unwind,cook some of our own food,get takeout from the Gallery down the road and enjoy the beach at any time of day. Tanis was quick to respond and has such a lovely space. Highly recommended!

Would highly recommend Ricky’s place. Worth the walk for peaceful surroundings. Ricky is super helpful with directions and pointers on getting around Hong Kong. Lovely stay.
