The cottage is in a great location by the river. The house had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay in this great place. We will definitely come back.

What an incredible stay! My husband and I loved our "home away from home" located in one of the South's most beautiful neighborhoods! Partner that with Eliza's gracious hospitality, excellent communication and numerous amenities throughout the house and community, it made for the perfect extended stay. Plus the location is centrally located for day trips to Bluffton and Hilton Head SC, as well as Savannah GA. We definitely hope to return!

We really enjoyed our stay at Michelle's place. It is a beautiful, peaceful retreat and we spent every morning on the porch enjoying the views with our coffee. The location is as remote as described and you better have some great vehicle backup skills to use on the one lane causeway! :) Michelle was a great host and very responsive. We lost power one evening and she immediately answered my call to report the outage and direct me to candles for the house. Overall, we had a very relaxing wonderful girls trip! Thank you, Michelle!

This is a classic Edisto home. We enjoyed what we call The Swiss Family Robinson treehouse. The 360 views and privacy are wonderful. The amenities like bikes, kayaks/canoe and cart make for that extra fun exploring Jeremy's Inlet. We picked up our usual goodies from Kings market and had some memorable adventures shell and fossil hunting. Bird watching is an incredible downtime activity from the various porches. A great place to get away from the daily grind and revive the soul with sea, sun and sand.

This is a great, fully equipped, home on the marsh. The Kitchen had everything we needed to cook a big holiday meal. The location feels private, and there is a small screened in porch. Access to the beautiful beach is a quick golf cart ride away. There are basketball and tennis courts, and fishing spots in the neighborhood, plenty of activities. The neighborhood is gated so you need to coordinate access for each car and access is limited. Overall, a great, fun place.

Stylisches Haus für perfektes Familienwochenende Das Haus liegt mitten im Grünen auf einem riesengroßen Grundstück und bietet alles, was man für einen perfekten Familienurlaub braucht: Platz, Privatsphäre, aber mit riesengroßem Wohn-Ess-Kochbereich oder der großen Veranda vorne und hinten auch die Möglichkeit, gemeinsam zu kochen, grillen oder einfach nur zu chillen. Alles war unglaublich sauber inkl. der großen Veranda, die wir wegen der montierten Moskitorahmen super nutzen konnten. Nach 2 Wochen in verschiedenen Hotels war es eine schöne Erfahrung, wie unauffällig, zugfrei und wirksam eine Klimaanlage sein kann! Die Einrichtung ist sehr stylisch aber gleichzeitig sehr bequem, wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Im Haus haben wir wirklich nichts vermisst - der tolle Weber-Grill oder auch die Küchenausstattung zeigen, dass die Gastgeber mit Herzblut bei der Sache sind. Der Strand ist ein paar Autominuten entfernt und die Gastgeber hatten tolle Restaurant- und Sightseeing-Tips. Top!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful marsh-front home near Charleston! The setting was peaceful and full of Lowcountry charm, with gorgeous marsh views right from the backyard. One of the highlights was definitely the chickens — fresh eggs every morning made breakfast extra special! The house itself was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Plus, it’s just a short drive to Edisto Beach, which made day trips super easy. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made sure we felt right at home. We can’t wait to come back!

If you are looking for a quiet place to get away from it all, this is it! Sunsets are amazing. It is perfect for stargazing. And the silence seeps into your soul. We left rejuvenated. Her place was perfect for the 2 of us. I would stay here monthly if I could! Ps. I highly recommend getting some shrimp & oysters (if you come in the ‘R’ months) at Flowers on Hwy 174 heading to Edisto Beach.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here and it was amazing. Wonderful views of the creek (which is bigger than what the photos reflect). The house was clean and had everything you needed. Spent a lot of time on the front porch taking in everything. My daughter and son came down for a day. Their favorite part was feeding the deer! Joni and Todd were so nice and helpful when asked about places to eat or shop. Would love to go back soon and re-live an amazing week of peace, comfort, and tranquility.

We could not ask for more. simple, clean and close to town. He had everything you could need or want in the cabin. His recommendation of Blackstone cafe was a pleasant surprise. Best breakfast we've ever had. We forgot to bring our beach wagon and he was nice enough to deliver one to our door. If you are picky about your extra privacy, this may not be for you. We had plenty of privacy inside and didnt spend much time hanging out outside of the cabin so it's fine for us. They are quiet people and incredibly friendly but you do see the backside of their house. We like making friends! 😊 I am planning to go back next year one weekend was not enough l.

Book this cottage and feel your stress melt away as you turn in the drive. Keep your camera handy to capture the passing dolphins in the bayou, the acrobatic barn swallows swooping above the dock, and the wonderfully rare fireflies that dance through the moss-covered tree limbs.
