If you are looking for a quiet, private and peaceful get away with all the amenities, this is it. The cabin is literally in the middle of nowhere, all alone on a mountainside, but has everything you need. The views feom the deck and hot tub are beautiful. Two pieces of advice - 1. Plan ahead and bring food, drinks, etc...that you will need, because stores of any kind are quite a drive. 2. Slow and steady is the best way up the driveway, which is gravel and slightly steep in areas. We loved our weekend away from the world at the Red Cabin and would definitely return or recomend to friends.

Honestly the best Airbnb I've ever stayed in. It's BEAUTIFUL, very well kept, and spacious. Would love to come back sometime! No issues or recommendations. It's perfect!!

Our family had a wonderful stay! The place is gorgeous; amazing scenery from the wraparound deck! Enjoyed the hot-tub, ping pong, and cozy evenings catching up with family around the fireplace. I was planning on section hiking part of the Standing Stone Trail. I was looking for a cabin in the woods. Sharon did not disappoint. The place was very clean and exactly as described. Her instructions were very easy to follow. Great all around.

It is a very nice and peaceful cabin and surrounding. There is plenty of hiking opportunities right out the back door or close drives away. Some hikes are difficult so do your research before you decide to go. Remember to pack water and some snacks if you plan on being out for awhile.

Location, ambience inside and out, roominess, cleanliness, decor, and price are outstanding for this Blue Knob house. All 7 of us had plenty of space and the laundry, deck, parking, street quietness were all above and beyond. Modern appliances combined with the colors and pictures and furnishings to give that ski mountain getaway, yet elegant feel. Don't hesitate to check it out. Thanks!

We were looking for a place to spend the weekend fishing some of the great PA class A fishing streams in the area and Laura’s place met our needs perfectly! As a bonus it was an easy walk down to the Little Juniata River! Loved waking up to the sounds of the birds and trains that frequently run through the area. Also appreciated the Seattle’s Best Coffee in the morning!

Urban Saddle Ranch is so very unique. If you like quirky, rustic and off the beaten path quarters than this is the right place for you. The cabins are located in a private wooded setting. The only sounds you will hear are from the roosters, pigs and geese. There are several beautiful Clydesdale horses along with ponies, dogs, ca, pigs and a famous turkey by the name of Walter. I cannot say enough good things about the owners. Our son is attending a college nearby and we have been coming here for the past 4 years. Wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Wonderful family weekend. House is in a wonderful location near Raystown Lake. The host was immediately responsive to any questions we may have had.

Good stay all around. Had one minor problem day one and the manager refunded a day without us even asking! 10/10

Richard’s stone cottage is nestled in some of the most beautiful territory I’ve ever seen. He was lovely to deal with and made everything super easy. The cottage was decorated spectacularly, had everything I needed and was extremely clean. I arrived to the cottage after 10pm and Richard had basically completed a turndown service with gentle lights on, a drawer with towels nudged open, and outside lighting on. I felt right at home. The only challenges that I personally experienced were: low water pressure (understandable for the age of the building and the intricate plumbing) and the small shower (I’m 6’2 and it’s very tight, but this is a small space overall.) None of these challenges should deter you from staying at this property. If you’re in central rural PA, this historic accommodation should absolutely be at the top of your list! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Richard - thank you so much for the last minute hospitality. perfect location for snowmobiling, can ride right to trails from house and they do not plow the roads in the village down to nothing. it is great for the area!

One of the best rentals we ve ever had! From check in to the surprise of how lovely this home is, to easy check out! Our family were delighted too. The home is absolutely lovely, super clean and very comfortable and cozy. We ll most certainly rent again from Ryan! Thank you for everything! Anita

Home was clean and well kept. Beautiful interior, mountainman like. Porch and deck were very nice. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was nice, living room was great. Great experience. Will be back next year.

Perfect doesn’t even describe how perfect this weekend was! If there were a word that was even better than perfect that was what this weekend was for us! Romantic (beautiful woodwork and use of light with the added high window to view while laying in bed set a romantic vibe) nostalgic with card games played as a child for me and old school video games for the hubby yet still relaxing and disconnected with super friendly and attentive host who was able to provide the perfect movie watching of Star Wars for us on “May the 4th be with you!”

I was in desperate need of a solo retreat and the “Little Cabin” was the perfect place for that. It was clean, very comfortable and scenic. I stayed a week and the Cabin was stocked properly for my stay. I am definitely looking forward to returning soon.
