One of the loveliest places we've ever stayed! Superb and spacious accommodation, beautifully decorated and really well & thoughtfully equipped - it will *exceed* your expectations. With the sauna and hot tub, it's not easy to drag yourself out of the house! And to top it off, the view across the loch is utterly mesmerising. Vivienne was a great host, letting us know everything we needed and leaving a lovely welcome pack. The house is in a peaceful location that is still handy for the main road and great for interesting local walks .... if you can drag yourself away! Can't recommend highly enough 😊

Roskhill cottage is awesome. We spent 5 nights here and made our stay truly special. The house have everything you may need and more, the beautiful view and garden filled with flowers, the BBQ hut it’s a great plus, comfortable beds, impeccable clean, good size bathroom and shower, close to little groceries stores, delicious bakery and good coffee, Dunvegan Castle and gardens and fantastic walkings around, plus gorgeous Coos cows! Really worthy place. Highly recommended.

Portree was amazing and the cottage was as nice and beautiful as the area

to say eagles rest is a one in a million stay is an understatement, david was warm and friendly upon our arrival. you cannot beat the location and the view. easy to get to and so many wonderful little houses with locally made treats for sale. it was cozy romantic and we both agreed this is somewhere we would book over and over again. the home was pristine and the skylight above the bed proved for amazing star gazing at night. the hosts were wonderful and friendly. i cannot say a bad thing about eagles rest. thank you again!

We really loved this beautiful cabin and found it to be the perfect base for exploring Lewis and Harris. The cabin is very well equipped and it was a huge bonus having 3 bathrooms and being dog friendly. The wood fired hot tub was lovely! We would not hesitate to return.

We had a wonderful week at Niall's place! It was immaculately clean and looks tasteful and modern, with lots of room to move about. The kitchen is well equipped and had everything we needed including the basics of salt, pepper, herbs, tea and coffee etc. which I always appreciate. Towels were fluffy and it was nice to be able to control the heating so it was just right for us. Finally the surroundings are super pretty - lovely sunsets and views of ponds and into the distance, very peaceful and private. The garden and washing line made things easier for us with wetsuits etc. and parking is easy with plenty of space. Thanks Niall!

Delightful cottage close to the Uig ferry to the Outer Hebrides and so very well located for us. The cottage has great views and is walking distance to the Fairy Glen and Castle Ewen sightseeing attractions. The cottage is very clean, warm and most charming.

Great little house in an absolutely gorgeous location—the perfect base for exploring Uist. Rhonda was an excellent host, regularly contacting us with any updates and ensuring that we had everything we needed. Hope to be back soon!

Indigo was the perfect base for our stay on Skye! It's in Edinbane which is about 15-20 minutes from Portree and probably about the same maybe a little less to Dunvegan which was perfect for us! The house is so well stocked and so well kept and everything has instructions but if you have any questions Udi and Zohar are so quick to reply! I would stop at the food co-op on your way to the house so you don't have to turn around and head back to Portree as soon as you get to the house. The view from the front windows is second to none and it was so peaceful while being no more than 30 or 40 minutes to anything we wanted to see or do. Oh! And there's a full freestanding dryer so we were able to do laundry so quickly which was a huge plus!! We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thank you Udi and Zohar for a perfect stay!!

A lovely cottage situated in a beautiful quiet location with only the birds and deer as neighbours. The cottage was warm and the bed very comfy. Kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of books and DVDs to watch in the evenings once the sun had gone down. A lovely cottage if you want peace and tranquillity. We were also blessed with fantastic weather and we were able to sit outside and enjoy watching the wildlife.

Just astonishing attention to detail with little personal touches everywhere which added a real sense of place to the cottage. Very attentive host who responded promptly to our little issues. The aspect of the house is beautiful looking out over the nearby sheep to the sea beyond. Very quiet and a little remote tucked up in the north of the island (it does take some time to get to most places due to the poor condition of the roads in that area), but I think this is reflected in the price which is very reasonable for Skye. Loved our stay - very comfortable.

We had a great week at Oran na Cuthaig. The house is as described, spacious, very comfortable and with everything you might need. It provided an ideal base for our family (including dog) to explore Lewis & Harris. There are some nice walks from the house with gorgeous views (also from the house - the changing sky is mesmerising). The house is very central with most sights max 40 mins or so drive away. Favourites of ours were Bostadh, Uig and Mangarsta, Luskentyre, and Calanais. Stornoway is under 20 mins away (with fast EV chargers!). Another big hit was fantastic pizza from Crust only 10 mins away (perfect for swinging by on the way home from a day out but definitely worth advance ordering online if you can). Eleanor was a responsive and very helpful host. Thanks again for having us - we hope to be back!

This cottage was fantastic- spacious, clean, well-equipped, warm and most importantly for us- had a TOTALLY enclosed, safe garden all around the cottage which was perfect for our dog. Hannah was super-responsive to our questions too. We would really recommend this cottage, if you want a peaceful spot, surrounded by natural beauty.

We have had the best week at Seashell Cottage. the house is beautiful, pristine, warm and inviting. The kitchen is very well stocked, the showers and bath devine and garden great for the dog. Location was exactly what we wanted for exploring the beaches of Harris. There is also a supermarket and Tap Room conveniently located a 5 minute drive away. Tarbert is 25mins away for a day out at the gin distillery too. Probably the nicest AirBnB we've stayed in and couldn't have asked for anything more.

We had a lovely stay at this cozy Quiraing house for 5 days. The place was comfortable, private, and conveniently close to key attractions like Quiraing walk, which made exploring the area a breeze. The only downside was the host’s response time, which was a bit slow. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d recommend it for a peaceful getaway in Skye.

Wonderful place, we really enjoyed our time there, it’s very clean, cozy and private. Christine and Ian were absolutely kind and helpful, we would really love to come back to this place ♥️

Loved our stay! Clean, comfortable and close to shops/restaurants in Portree

The place was spotless. Amazing view, amazing location. Very responsive host. Calum was always helpful. Will definitely be back if we are back in Scotland.

We were here for 3 nights and when we first arrived we were given a quick tour of the place. They even had a few treats for us and fresh flowers, which was nice. It’s about a 9 min drive into town, so it was close to everything. The place is right on the water and it was very cozy with a fireplace inside. The only “issue” we had was the bedroom heater was very loud, but we just turned it off at night (a very minor thing just as an fyi and they did have a spare portable heater to use as well). We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely visit to skye and really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was cosy homely and very clean. Was located in a quiet and peaceful part of the island. We also enjoyed the honesty fridge just down from the cottage were we got some lovely sweet treats. Would definitely recommend a stay here and would love to come back one day!
