It was clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the space, from the cozy bedding to the thoughtful amenities provided. The location was also fantastic.

Great location, easy walking distance to everything. Living space was good size for us as a couple with a toddler, might have been stretched to comfortably fit another couple. Helen and Eric were very quick to respond to messages sent which made for a relaxing time away. Would definitely stay again when visiting Melbourne.

Gorgeous old building with plenty of character in the perfect location for the international garden show! Karen’s studio has a great view of Carlton Gardens, is beautiful, restful with lovely breezes, and sooo many restaurants nearby (only a 5 minute stroll to Lygon street). A lovely cosy place to come home to. We had a wonderful visit, thank you!

Comfortable Stay ... A breathtaking sunrise view from the balcony and from bedroom are stunning. The location is very convenient, with trams stops, within 1 minute walking distance to RANZCOG where i took my exam. The owners are super friendly and helpful, they made me feel truly welcomed. check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle-free. It was wonderful stay overall!!!"

We had a lovely stay. Will be certain to return. The Elwood neighbourhood is our favourite in Melbourne. It is heavily treed, peaceful and walking distance to the beach, St Kilda Botanical Gardens as well as the shops in Elwood Village.

What a wonderful experience with a truly thoughtful host. Michelle has created a wonderful home away from home with all the right ‘feels’ and a touch of luxury, she made us feel like valued guests and we were extremely happy with the location and personality within the home .

Amazing secluded location, beautifully and thoughtfully furnished house. Lovely quality things, well stocked for basics and firewood.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Avila. The house is very spacious and comfortably accommodated our large group. It had everything we needed to have a relaxing short break. The location is literally a short walk of 5 minutes to the beach. Summer was very easy to deal with and the instructions regarding the premises were clearly outlined in the house manual.

Had an amazing getaway with my partner! We had a wonderful time. The whole place was immaculate, everything was clean and spacious. The jet spa was just the perfect touch and the pool table kept us entertained. Steve and Ka are awesome hosts, highly recommended.

House was big & spacious. Enough room for all of us. It was in nice & quiet neighbourhood. Good 25 minutes ride to city. Good host.

What a change of scenery for a family holiday.. and less than an hour outside of Melbourne CBD! We enjoyed waking up to the sunrise over the tree line from the master bedroom window, and the kids loved exploring the gardens almost as much as our pup. The outdoor space here might be the hidden gem of a stay, as we found spot after spot for memorable family photos. While there were some minor hiccups during our stay, the hosts Deepika and Ravi were far more than accommodating and absolutely wonderful people to communicate with. They really went the extra mile (km?) to ensure we had a lovely visit.. which we most certainly did.

Perfect location for a weekend getaway!

What a fabulous place! The character of this home and beauty of the surrounding gardens made for such a great family getaway. With the billiard table, pool, sauna and tennis court, our teenagers were happy and occupied. Loved that we could walk to Sherbrooke Falls from the house, and the gorgeous cafe across the road.
