We enjoyed a peaceful stay after long days on bikes. We were in town for the NC Coastal ride. After riding for 30+ miles each day we came back to a tranquil location. The home is immaculate. Every item one would ever need was provided. It was perfect to have a full size fridge for our supplies. Beth even left firewood in case we wanted to enjoy the fire pit. We were able to stretch and get in a yoga session on the dock. Yoga mats were provided. The home feels like a ship in that it is surrounded by water. The waves and fresh air made for incredible sleep each night. An osprey nest is outside the window. With the binoculars we were able to watch the progress of the nest and the amazing pair catch fish. The communication throughout the stay was spot on. The “billion dollar” view is remarkable, but the amenities and care from the homeowner make this is top notch vacation spot.

I wish we had more time here! I hesitate to say it felt “homey” because sometimes that’s a euphemism for something else. But this place is truly homey; you instantly feel at ease and welcome! I would highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area!

River Shore had room for the two of us to spread out a little and enjoy the river view. The geese flying overhead and the red birds chirping in the yard gave us many pleasurable moments did walking along the entryway road. Very enjoyable stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Maureen's house. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, but also only 2 miles or less from popular restaurants. It was also very safe and convenient to ride bicycles down Church Street to downtown Elizabeth City for the start of the Cycle NC Coastal Ride event.

We were so excited to have such a wonderful house for our long cycling weekend. Our group of nine adults had plenty of room and enjoyed the house’s many amenities: roomy kitchen, comfortable furniture, expansive backyard, and welcoming front porch. The house was exceptionally clean and newly renovated and all the beds were comfortable, Our host responded promptly and was accommodating. The location is excellent. We were able to walk to the downtown and its shops, bars, restaurants and waterfront.  We would stay there again in a heartbeat. 

Loved my stay here! Was so nice to escape the city and enjoy the peaceful scenery. Will definitely be coming back!

The host was amazing, I'm not ever tech savvy and she helped me so much while trying to add a pet fee and general questions. We stayed easter weekend to make it extra special for my son, the walk to see all the horses and wild life was amazing ! The barn cat even joined us for an easter egg hunt. Walking in to homemade banana bread made this feel so much more like home. It was hard to leave !!

We enjoyed our stay at the Bay House, it was beautiful and had everything we needed for a long, relaxing weekend stay. We really appreciated all the nicer finishes in the house and outside too. The view was amazing. Janna was extremely responsive and a great host. We will definitely go back, hopefully when some family can join us there in warmer weather.

Trish and Rick are amazing hosts! We were blown away by the kindness they showed us throughout our stay. The space anticipated every need we had before we knew we had them. The backyard is GORGEOUS. I highly recommend visiting when the azaleas are in full bloom.

The entire experience was wonderful!! The host gave clear instructions, a great space, and amenities :) Definitely recommend them for your stay, I’ll book here on a future trip to E. City 😁

I have stayed at this location multiple times, always a great experience. Donnie is proactive in communicating regarding your stay. Replies in a timely manner. Provides clear and easy to understand instructions to make the check-in process hassle free.

Anne and Carlos were incredibly responsive and attentive hosts, especially with helping us store our bikes. Their place was charming and the kitchen was well stocked!
