Our stay at the charming bed and breakfast was a delight! From the warm welcome to the friendly atmosphere, we felt right at home. The hot tub was a highlight, where we soaked while enjoying stunning nature views and even spotted deer nearby. Mornings on the deck with coffee and evenings watching the sunset were pure bliss. Our hosts were accommodating, offering great local recommendations while respecting our privacy. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape, this bed and breakfast is a hidden gem. We left feeling rejuvenated and can’t wait to return!

Lorraine and Baz were lovely and gave us all the relevant information. They we’re flexible with check out times and all questions were answered quickly. The local pubs were lovely and we met regulars who gave us further information about walks which we went on that were lovely, definitely check out Avebury if you stay. The hot tub was a lovely touch! Kind and helpful host, quick to respond to messages and lovely to greet on your stay and departure (great had WiFi and recommendation for places). Food shops local so didn't have to travel far. The cottage was peaceful, clean and just the stay we wanted with no disturbance. Hot tub was brilliant and it was ready as soon as we got there, allowed us to bring a fire which was lovely alongside the hot tub! Very pleased to have a TV in the bedroom as not many places have this. Definitely will be returning and recommending to others! Cottage was a win for us. Look forward to trying the yurt and cabin one day! 5* review for sure!!

Sally’s place felt like going through a portal into a magical garden. The house was so cozy with beautiful vintage decor and an amazing fireplace. The highlight of the trip was eating breakfast outside by the river and watch the ducks. And can’t forget about the lovely host Sally is! Always responsive and helpful with lots of good food and nature walks recommendations.

We stayed at the cottage for a hen do and had the most amazing time! The cottage itself is absolutely beautiful, and the garden in spring was especially stunning – such a peaceful and picturesque spot. We particularly loved the lawn area, which was perfect for a few competitive games of croquet in the sunshine! The house was incredibly well equipped, with everything we needed for a big group. We really appreciated how many bathrooms there were – it made getting ready so easy for everyone. The surrounding area was lovely to explore, and we had a great time at the local pub, The Swan Inn – definitely worth a visit for food and drinks. Highly recommend this place for a group getaway – we made such special memories here!

Lovely weekend with friends. Beautiful location and the hosts were happy to provide suggestions on where to go etc and were very responsive. The croissants, jams, coffees etc were a lovely addition to our first morning!!🌞 Sue and Robert were also flexible with us leaving the car in the space after check out for a bit so we could go for a walk and make the most of the weather!

We had a very lovely stay at the cottage. It was exactly what we wanted. The cottage is absolutely beautiful in a gorgeous setting. It was so peaceful and relaxing. There is so much wildlife around which was beautiful to see. There is plenty of room and the hot tub was amazing. Keith is an amazing host and nothing is too much trouble, he was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be recommending this place and would stay again.

We had a lovely time. Love the location. Perfect for walkers. Inside was light and airy. Bed was very comfortable. The animals were happy and friendly and the area has lots of wildlife. We enjoyed going for walks and visiting Hungerfords Elaine's for lunch. Look forward to visiting again.

We had the most wonderful stay. A beautiful location and wonderful garden. Walking my dog as the was setting was absolutely magical. We had a lovely time with our little family. Thank you for a great stay. Highly recommend and hope to be back soon!

My family loved our stay at Old Forge. Our children— aged 4 and 7– had a blast running around the yard and having their own secluded room on the upper level. We all enjoyed the rustic wildlife decor and the lovely view of the field. The cottage was cozy yet spacious, and the kitchen was well-equipped. Make sure to get dinner at the local spot— The Golden Ball Inn! Stow was a very short drive away with plenty of nice shops and restaurants and a Tesco for our grocery needs. We didn’t end up getting a chance to walk the paths nearby, but we saw plenty of spots we could have done so— and with any luck someday we can return to Old Forge and get to walk around. I’d highly recommend Old Forge for anyone staying in the Cotswolds, esp with children!

Rosemary's cottage is fabulous. As soon as you walk inside you immediately feel at home. It is spotlessly clean, lovely furniture, pristine kitchen/dining room with all the appliances you would need, very comfortable beds, lovely linen and huge, fluffy towels. The garden is very neat with lovely patio furniture, perfect for that afternoon bottle of fizz in the sunshine. It is a 15/20 minute walk into Stratford Upon Avon whereby there are some lovely walks, great restaurants and bars and all the Shakespeare culture you need for the perfect weekend. Also, which was a bonus to us, was that there is parking for 2 cars on the drive. We were celebrating my mums 80th birthday which is a birthday my mum won't forget. Thank you Rosemary for letting us stay in your beautiful cottage.

What a great setting for an escape to the country! I already miss waking up with the chickens and pigs to greet me every day. I also saw more wild animals and birds in my walks around here in a week, than I have in years in London. Auriol is a great host, relaxed, knowledgeable and friendly, and the property is exactly as described and shown here. Tips for other travelers: If you’re a light sleeper bring an eye mask and earplugs as it does get sunny in the main bedroom. Looking forward to returning here!

It was a lovely stay at a beautiful cottage. The cottage was everything we hoped for a little two day get away. We spent time on local walking footpaths and getting to know the local pubs. Our recommendations are; The Falcon, Ye Olde Reine Deer Inn and The Blinking Owl over the road. The owners of the Blinking Owl were lovely hosts, really traditional English pub and great food from Sylvia! We spent our New Years Eve there and it was a lovely evening. Couldnt have asked for a better stay. Mary was super helpful and responsive on the run up to the stay. We hope to visit again soon.

Deer View cottage is was absolutely gorgeous! It’s a traditional cottage, so the stairs are steep & takes some getting used too, however do not let this put you off. There is a secure garden for the dogs, however a public walkway right across the road through a wooded area & fields which lead to the village green & cafe! Perfect for a morning coffee. The cottage was extremely clean with everything in place ie towels, hand soap, tea towels, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets & toilet rolls (including spares). Bathroom & separate shower was perfect when sharing with family or couples. Definitely recommend Deer View cottage, it catered for all our needs including our dogs & the surprise views in the back garden was totally unexpected! Hosts were perfect!

Really gorgeous home for a short break, lovely decor and all essentials you need. The fresh flowers were a beautiful touch. Would definitely recommend and visit again x

This cottage was absolutely lovely. It was very clean and tidy and very comfortable and homely. The bathrooms were wonderfully clean. The surrounding area is outstandingly beautiful with many lovely walks nearby. Very peaceful.

A perfect place for our family gathering! House is beautiful and cosy. The bathrooms and kitchen are so well done--Lauren has done a great job of keeping the warm, cosy atmosphere while supplying all the modern conveniences. King beds available in every bedroom (Not an easy find!) and were quite comfortable. We felt right at home the minute we walked into this lovely retreat. Loved having the pub across the street and a little shop in town for basics. (I also highly recommend the cafe in town!) Best of all, Lauren is a fantastic host--proactively offering recommendations for shopping, restaurants and activities. We would definitely stay here again!

A lovely cottage, well appointed and very comfortable. Set on a farm but very peaceful with lots of wildlife including deer and badgers. Good facilities and well located for Leamington, Kenilworth and Coventry. Ideal for families visiting Warwick Uni students, like we did. Sally is a great host and we wouldn't hesitate to go back. We saw Millie through the window but Mabel didn't get to say hello.

This was our second visit to this charming and totally unique cottage and we again took full advantage of the lovely walks around. The surrounding grounds were blessed with many wild spring flowers and we spent a considerable time just sitting on the bench enjoying the peaceful area and sound of the woodpecker etc.. Visits to Oxford (the Ashmolean) and Stratford-upon-Avon (quieter in the mornings) and visits to the surrounding villages added to our enjoyment.

This was our second week staying here, after a brilliant experience the first time staying here, we had to come back again. Thank you for hosting us during our stay.

I had such a lovely time staying at this house. The house was clean, cozy, and exactly as described — even better in person. What really made the experience special was the host (Rachel). They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always quick to respond if we had any questions. You can tell they genuinely care about making guests feel at home. The location was quiet and convenient, and everything we needed was provided. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!
