Our stay at Carla’s was fantastic. The property offers a breathtaking view, with the lake, mountains, and sunsets creating a truly unforgettable backdrop. Experiencing it all from the comfort of the balcony made it even more special. The added amenities like the pool and jacuzzi were a perfect touch—super relaxing and just what we needed.

The place was very nice, spotless, and had a fully equipped kitchen. It was well-heated, making the stay comfortable. However, if you're visiting for the view, keep in mind that on foggy days visibility can be very limited. Also, driving at night requires extra caution as the road is not well-lit. The highlight of the stay was definitely the pool, sauna, and jacuzzi, with each room getting a private one-hour slot per day, a great feature, although we wish the pool had better heating. The nearest supermarket is about a 5-minute drive away, and the location isn't easily accessible by public transportation. It's a good option if you're seeking privacy and tranquility. Parking is available but is quite narrow and better suited for small cars. The self check-in and check-out process was smooth with clear instructions. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily return on a clear day.

Das Appartement ist einfach fantastisch, vor allem der Blick auf den See. Die Küche sowie das Badezimmer ist voll ausgestattet, man fühlt sich wie zu Hause. Der Whirlpool und die Sauna ist super einfach zu nutzen – es gab klare Anweisungen auf Zetteln vor Ort, sodass man sich nicht erst durchfragen oder jemanden kontaktieren musste. Alles war selbsterklärend und unkompliziert, total angenehm, vor allem wenn man einfach seine Ruhe haben will. Genauso war es beim Check-in. Dieser erfolgte ebenfalls auf Anweisungen und man konnte sich quasi selbst einchecken. Die Organisation ist demnach super! Dankeschön für diesen schönen Urlaub! Wir kommen gerne wieder. Von uns gibt es 5/5 Sterne!!!

Abbiamo passato 3 giorni a cavallo di capodanno 2025. Tre famiglie con bambini. Siamo stati benissimo. Lara ci ha accolto cordialmente al check-in e ci ha dato tutte le indicazioni per gestire al meglio la casa, compresi stufa, jacuzzi e tinozza finlandese. Ambienti puliti e completi di tutto. Cucina e bagni super accessoriati. Camere impeccabili e confortevoli. Vari giochi per bambini e libri per momenti di relax; disponibilità di Sky, Netflix e Disney+. Legna e barbecue a disposizione. Vista impagabile sul lago di Como da un versante e sulla montagna dall’altro lato. Posizione ottima: abbastanza isolati per stare tranquilli e non dare fastidio a nessuno ma comunque a 5 minuti dal centro del paese; a meno di 10 minuti abbiamo trovato un centro commerciale molto fornito. Esperienza davvero ottima e consigliata, da riprovare d’estate con la possibilità di utilizzare anche la piscina esterna. OTTIMO

This is honestly the best vacation home I have ever stayed in, and we travel a lot. The pictures of the view don’t do it justice. We were in awe just staring out every window at the beauty of the mountains and lake. The indoor pool, sauna, and steam room were great places to relax and unwind, and even better it was private (you book the hour). The inside of the home was beautiful and the kitchen had everything you need. At first we didn’t have a car, but after seeing how high up the mountain we were, we went back to town and rented a car for the duration. Made it a lot easier to explore without having to rely on taxis. Can’t wait to come back.

Just returned after a long weekend here with our two children. The views at this property were unbelievable and were the absolute highlight of the accomodation. Andrea was incredibly friendly, informative and supportive with any help we required. I would recommend hiring a car if you're staying here, we don't think we'd have managed it with the children and it would have left us feeling isolated. Be aware that if you're going with children that it can feel quite cosy and not much space. However, the outdoor terrace had plenty of space and was safe and secure. The lesireu facilities were okay, would benefit from some maintenance but it helped to give the children something to do in an evening. A local restaurant nearby but mostly requiring transport. Varenna is absolutely stunning and a must see, the Lovers Walk, the Lakes Bakery and just watching the world go by at the Lake was amazing. Definitely a trip for beautiful sites and slow living. Wunderschöne Gegend, traumhafter Ausblick vom Balkon auf den See. Das Apartment ist perfekt für 2 Personen, ein Auto ist allerdings ratsam wegen der Lage. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen, auch der SPA Bereich ist sehr zu empfehlen. Die Kommunikation mit unserem Host war auch sehr gut. Kommen gerne wieder!

Die Wohnung von Urs ist sehr geschmackvoll und mit Stil eingerichtet. Sie ist absolut sauber und es fehlt an nichts für einen angenehmen sowie entspannten Urlaub. Für das Auto steht ein Stellplatz in einer großzügigen Garage zur Verfügung. Gefallen hat uns auch die zentrale Lage mit der Nähe zu Geschäften und dem See. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ivana è stata gentilissima e molto premurosa. La casa è pulita e attrezzatissima per ogni esigenza e necessità. Perfetta per una tappa lungo la via del viandante, ideale anche per soggiorni più lunghi

Nadia è un host molto gentile e disponibile. La baita è bellissima e molto silenziosa, camino e stufa hanno reso tutto molto confortevole. La mattina come consigliato da Nadia, con il bel tempo, abbiamo fatto colazione sul bellissimo tavolo esterno. Sicuramente da tornarci - silenzioso, privato e rassicurante. Molto consigliato

Wir (Familie 2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder 11+13 j.alt) hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt! Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, gemütlich und genau so wie in der Beschreibung. Die Lage war perfekt, alles war gut erreichbar. Die Gastgeberin Patrizia war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und jederzeit ansprechbar. Wir habe uns rundum wohlgefühlt und komme gerne wieder. If I could give the home (and Silvia) more than five stars I would. As beautiful as the view is in the pictures it doesn’t compare to being there in person. It is spectacularly beautiful. The rooms were very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and Silvia was very responsive and helpful. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and look forward to visiting again in the future!

Host disponibilissima e flessibile (sicuramente c'è stata anche la possibilità di esserlo, ma gliene siamo davvero grati!). Casa pulita, accogliente e fornita di ogni dispositivo elettronico e non per ogni evenienza!

If we could give 6 stars we would. The location is beautiful, full of wonderful nature. Ivana’s apartment felt right at home, had everything you would want in an airbnb and more. We very much enjoyed all the delicacies! Even with public transport its very reachable and Ivana is very friendly and helpful. We wouldn’t think twice about booking again.

Absolutely stunning location, Andrea was a great host and very responsive. It’s a little walk from the parking space to the house so pack light! Or embrace the workout of transporting luggage as the location makes it worthwhile. The house was lovely, the bathroom is superb and the bed is comfortable. Watching the sunrise from the balcony with the view of the lake was a great way to start the day.

Wir verbrachten 6 tolle Tage in Monias Haus. Bereits die Fotos in der Beschreibung versprachen einiges. Aber als wir dort eintrafen, waren wir überwältigt. Das Haus, der Garten, die Sicht... ein Traum. Das Haus ist wunderschön und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es war alles äußerst sauber und wir fühlten uns sofort wohl. Es war alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Durch die bodentiefen Fenster hat man einen atemberaubenden Blick über den See. Auch haben wir den schönen Garten genossen. Dieser ist voll umzäunt, so dass wir unseren Hund bedenkenlos frei lassen konnten. Er fühlte sich beim Sonnenbaden auf dem Rasen sehr wohl und genoss den Aufenthalt genauso wie wir. Die Lage ist perfekt. So ist man innerhalb weniger Minuten mit dem Auto unten am See in Gera Lario. Die Kommunikation mit Monia verlief von Anfang bis zum Ende reibungslos. Sie hat sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert und ist sehr freundlich. Es war ein rundum perfekter Urlaub. Jederzeit gerne wieder....

We stayed 7 days in the Geranium Suite. The photos don’t do justice to the spectacular view. If you can climb the 79 stairs from the gate at the street to the room, do not hesitate to book this room immediately. Varenna is a charming town to visit and use as a base on Lake Como. The restaurant and activity recommendations made by Christian and MG were all fantastic. They were so helpful throughout our stay. There is not one negative comment to be made about the accommodations or the entire experience.

This place was so so wonderful! Aside from having an absolutely beautiful view, the apartment had everything we needed for our stay, including a little patio right by the pool! Sarah was super friendly, responsive, and helpful, and we felt right at home as soon as we arrived. We also loved the pizza restaurant just up the street - delicious food and more amazing views! An overall incredible stay and place we hope to come back to. Thank you!!

Christian’s place was fantastic! We love Gravedona and Lake Como. The view is amazing and the little patio and front garden were perfect for breakfast, wine in the afternoon or just relaxing. Easy drive to Switzerland and Italian Alps.

Not to be missed!! A great place to spend magical days at Lake Como. We found Varenna to be the pick of the villages and this apartment a great option. The apartment is bigger than expected, great bedroom with sizeable spa, the location was perfect...close to all main attractions and restaurants and a warm and welcoming host!! Stay here, it's money well spent!!

We LOVED Francesca's place--it is paradise. My son declared it's the nicest place he's ever stayed and called it the highlight of the week (even though he went skiing and to a football game that week!). Really beautiful, even nicer than the picture. Breathtaking view.
